Dear Chelsea:
That disease has not taken away that sparkle in your spirit that I have grown to love. You are stronger then this!
I had to look up this disease when you told me what you had. And most people survive this. But there are some that are not so lucky. No matter what you have been told, you are going to beat this! You are a fighter and your going to tell people that you survived this. I believe in you and have faith in you.
I am working on writing songs for our newest album. I am writing one about you. Your story has inspired me and made me realize that life is too short to take advantage of it. And abuse it. I have been one to be guilty of abusing my life in the past. And starting now, that will change. I will become the guy that I was raised to be. And make my grandparents proud.
Our drummer and singer in the band know about you. And they want to do something special for you. We have decided that once this album is written and we go out on tour, all the money from album sales and merchandise will go towards you. And help pay for your medical bills and treatment and travels.
We all know how expensive this is from dealing with our fair share of medical stuff. Just ask our singer who claims he is Batman reincarnated. He had decided to try to fly and ended up breaking several ribs. He spent a week in the hospital and a week at a hotel recovering. He to this day still thinks he is related to the fictional superhero. We all just allow him to go with it. His injuries have obviously not stopped him from trying to fly like him.
The guys have agreed that you need the money more then we do. We will also sell custom-made bracelets. I have enclosed one in with the letter. These have our band name and symbols. For each sale of these, that will also be going towards you. Once tour is done, we will deliver the money to you in person.
You are not one to give up and allow this disease to take you over. That has blown us away with what you have had to endure here. And yet, your slowly dying. Heaven is just not going to be getting the angel that they are hoping to get. They will need to just pick someone else out to replace you. Cause your not going to be leaving this planet anytime soon.
I ran across some pictures of me and one of the band, the other day when I was cleaning out my stuff. I decided to send you some to make you feel better. The one with my autograph is old!!!!! I had those taken when I was starting out in the band. I have since then as you can see from a more recent picture changed quite a bit.
I am planning on not giving up on you here Chelsea. No matter how bad you get, I will stick by you from far away. You will always have me! Do not forget that! Friends are always there for each other. And you are not going to go through this alone! This may take you down for the count at times, but this will not take your life babe!
