"Ready?" Larisa asked. I nodded and she grabbed a dress and pulled it out of its bag. I gasped in shock at the marvel of the beauty.

I stood up with my doctor's help as Monica pulled off my top and unsnapped my skirt. I held up my arms as the gown was slipped over my head. "Let me get up with you babe." My doctor said as she stood up with me. I dropped her hands and I was on my own. "You okay?" She asked as she steadied me. I nodded. I felt the dress zip up and I heard a knock as my doctor held onto my arms. Monica held onto my waist. "Come in." I said as the door opened and in walked the manager. He had some clips with me and stopped. "You look amazing. Lets get it to fit you better. Your so skinny." He said calmly as I gripped onto the arms. I felt it get tight and I turned around as Monica steadied me. He fixed the train and laid it flat. I looked behind me and my jaw dropped. "Oh my!" I exclaimed as I sat down.

"You okay my dear?" He asked worried. "She has a spinal block in her back. She is paralyzed from the waist down. She is able to walk but it fatigues the upper part of her back. She needs to sit down." Larisa said as my doctor pulled the train aside. He nodded and smiled. "You look stunning. How does it feel?" He asked.

"Heavy. Too much." I said as they nodded. I was stood back up and they had the gown off of me. I sat down as they put it all back into its bag. "Here babes. Put this on. So you don't get cold." Shy said handing me a black silk robe. I nodded and slipped it on. "Let's try this one next. I think you may find it to be a bit lighter weight but still stunning." He said as he held out a dress. I nodded.

Ten minutes later I had what I can only describe as a lace tablecloth. I shook my head and they had it back off. "I did not like all the fluff and ruffles." I said as they moved onto the next one. I slipped on a form-fitting one and I could tell this was a no. "I can't walk." I said as they pulled it off. They flipped through my gowns and sighed. "Do not fret. I think I have a few that may be what she is looking for. I will grab these and be back." He said as he grabbed the rack full of gowns and headed out the door. I heard My Chemical Romance playing Black Parade as we waited. I hummed softly along as they smiled. "You doing okay babe?" Monica asked as I nodded. "I am frustrated." I said as they nodded. "Do not worry. He seemed like he had some gowns in mind. I am sure we will find something that you like." Larisa said soothingly.

We heard a knock and I said to come in. He came back with a new rack full of dresses. He shut the door and grabbed one off the rack. He unzipped the bag and took out the dress. I looked and made a disgusted face. "Too modern." I said. It was shorter and had a skirt that flared out and had cut out lines. He nodded and put it back. He pulled out another one. "YUCK!" I said as he held up a black dress with red lace on the bottom. Monica agreed as he put it back. He unzipped another and my heart stopped.

"I...I...thought this was not available here?" I said in shock. He laughed a warm laugh. "This dress is one of our newest ones. Nobody has tried it cause of the steep price tag. I think it may be what you are wanting." He said as I nodded slowly.
