(Help me I've had this cover of "Aishite" stuck in my head for a week)

A digital version of a drawing I did of Nightshadow in the Flowers Soulmate AU.

Warning: Slight blood.

Flowers used: Cockscomb (yellow flowers), dandelion (white flowers)

Me while drawing the dandelions: I have no idea what I'm doing.

The Cockscomb flowers were so much fun to shade and light, and I adore how they came out. The shading was tricky especially since Nightshadow has different prints and patches all over her body that would kinda mess up the shading but overall I'm proud of how it turned out! It took me two days to fully color the entire thing (I did the lineart and partial coloring yesterday, and the coloring/shading today).

Basically the story behind this is that Nightshadow doesn't have a soulmate, and she knows this, which breaks her heart whenever she sees the cockscomb flower on her chest. The translation of Aishite means "Love me" in Japanese if I remember correctly. In one of the lyrics in the English cover, it says, "There's nobody at all," which gave me the idea for this.

None of this is canon, as usual, I was just bored and doodled then that doodle turned serious. But d a m n I love how it turned out.
