-Midnight and Baxter-

Short description: A deadly duo, Midnight and Baxter are not creatures to be messed with. Brother and sister, these two are inseparable; try to take one, and the other will find you.

Lore: Midnight and Baxter were originally created in the Overworld. Some say they disappeared mysteriously as kits, others believe they terrorized livestock and were banished to the Nether, but stumbled into the Aether Portal by mistake while on their way. Wherever they may have originated, there is one piece of information that's solid. The duo were once ruled over by an evil king that tried to take the Aether and it's creatures for his own profit. That's where they say their helmets and other armor scraps came from. However, his reign didn't last long when he recruited the duo. Everyone knows their names, but they've never seen their faces.

-Diesel Bourne-

Short description: Diesel seems like a friendly being at first, but behind those friendly neon eyes...there's a dark secret. The vixen stays in her own lane, greeting travellers that trot by on her road, wishing them luck, and seeing them on their way through the Aether Islands. Nobody knows how long she's been there, she just sort of showed up at some point and didn't leave so they all accepted her as another Aether creature.

Lore: Virtually nothing is known about the vixen's backstory. When asked, she'll always change the subject as soon as possible, barely giving any information. However, it is known that she's very popular among the creatures of the Floating Islands, especially for her friendly, welcoming nature.

-The Mystics-

Short description: The Mystics certainly radiate chaotic energy. However, nothing and nobody can tear this group of girls apart, they've been inseperable since the day they met. They're kinda like a pack.

Lore: So, nobody knows how they actually met each other- some Aether beings think they were lifelong friends, some think they only recently met, etc. One thing's for sure is that they radiate chaotic good energy.

Xena- AKA Golden Feline -is the "mom friend". She's always trying to keep the others from doing stupid things, and is constantly losing them.

Dusty- AKA Sharpfang -is the shy one. She's closer to Xena than any of the others, and is evidently extremely skittish. She never gets into too much trouble, but does tend to get lost easily.

Dana- AKA Ragdoll -is the loose canon. She's constantly getting into trouble, and some have joked that she belongs in the Nether instead.

Lynette- AKA Viper -is the snake. Literally. Lynette is very slippery, able to get out of any situation she's gotten herself or her friends into. She's careless and nonchalant, which tends to get Xena both concerned and annoyed.

Jaelyn- AKA Axis -is the more chill one of the group. She's very peaceful, but will yell if necessary. She tends to roll with the punches, and somehow always leaves unscathed.

The gang is always moving from one Floating Island to another, usually annoying other residents and getting away with it.

-The Lynx Sisters-

Short description: These two are absolutely inseparable. If one gets hurt, the other will immediately know, just by instinct. Watch your back though- they're unpredictable.

Lore: So these two were rumored to have originally been from the Overworld, but somehow got into the Aether (like the Panthras). But they've been in the Aether for a really long time, long enough for some other beings to believe they were born there. Whatever their origins are, the sisters have always been the same. They do practically everything together, though Nightshadow is kinda prone to running off out of curiosity. Nightbird's the older sister but only by a few minutes, named for her massive black wings. Her sister Nightshadow is named for her incredible stealth, if she focuses enough. They're incredibly friendly, but if you hurt them, they will not hesitate to fight back. And they fight back hard.
