Name: Bai Ling, meaning "White Spirit." I know this is the name of a Chinese actress, but I don't care, I like the name and the meaning, and I wanted to stay true to her former name, which was Ling or Mei Ling.

Nicknames: Ling-Ling (by Po), Bai, BB (her common nicknames), Apprentice Ling (by Shifu).

Age: 25.

Personality: Bai Ling is very chill a majority of the time, usually letting things slide and not getting offended easily. In reality she's a ticking time bomb ready to explode. Bai has a bit of a hot temper when it comes to rude people, which often gets her into fights and rivalries, as well as occasionally getting really impatient with certain people. She's rather bold and isn't afraid to stand her ground during a fight, physical or verbal. If you ask her to get something done, she will 100% get it d o n e, no matter what. She's determined. Very. Ling also doesn't understand when someone's hitting on her, she'll just think they're being nice. She's basically just extremely dense.

Backstory: Bai Ling grew up in one of the many small Tribes known commonly as Snow Warriors. Snow Warriors lived mainly in cold climates like mountains or tundras, and were grouped together like wolves in "tribes" of 5-10. Bai developed a high resistance to below zero temperatures because of this, and was assigned the position of hunter and fisher for the Tribe. However, one day, Bai got lost while hunting. Like...really lost. So lost that she got caught up in a snowstorm and almost froze to death buried in a snowbank. Luckily, she'd strayed so far from her lakeside forest Tribe that she had accidentally stumbled into the area near the Valley of Peace, where she collapsed into the snowbank. Monkey, from the Furious Five, found her and notified the others, and dragged a half-frozen-to-death Bai Ling to a nearby home and practically brought her back from the edge of death. After she came to, she repeatedly thanked the group (and the homeowner) for saving her life and asked if she could do anything in return. They insisted she didn't have to and offered her a place to stay. Bai, forgetting she was quite a long way from her Tribe's campsite, replied she already had one. Then reality hit her and long story short she's close friends with them and Shifu and now lives in the Jade Palace as an ally and trainee.
Wait, there's more.
After the Tai Lung incident (movie 1) Bai was blissfully unaware everything had happened, as she was on a little journey to see if she could find her Tribe again when Tai Lung escaped. So you can imagine her visible confusion when there was suddenly a panda as the Dragon Warrior and apparently a dead villain when she came back. She accepted it anyway, it wasn't the weirdest thing to happen. The most surprising thing to happen to her though took place a few months later. She was in the forest again, in mid-winter after a fresh snow, just to explore and play. She didn't realized she'd trespassed on a certain snow leopard's hiding area. Tai Lung attacked her, but he was still really injured from the Skadoosh. He didn't die cuz nine lives. Bai didn't give a crap he was hurt and uppercutted him, taking the upper claw and incapacitating him very quickly due to his weakened state. She was made to say the least. Tai begged for mercy though, and reluctantly, she released him. He commented on her skill, which turned into a conversation that lasted till sunset. Bai left by the time the sun had started to go down. She kept visiting Tai Lung for a while, building a good friendship with the guy. One day, her visits became less and less regular, before she eventually stopped seeing him all together. Tai Lung, worried and also kinda upset, tried to find her without being recognized. Which was tough, by the way. Turns out Bai had slowly found out more and more about Tai Lung's reputation, which made her creep away back to her allies and not want anything to do with him anymore. She didn't wanna go down the forbidden route. She'd heard too many stories of forbidden friendship/love that ended gruesomely. Occasionally she'll spot Tai Lung around the forest while exploring but she always runs away or goes the opposite direction to avoid him. She still feels bad about it, but she doesn't want to be associated with a dangerous murderer who almost killed her mentor over a position of power.

Species: Bai's a snow leopard like Tai Lung.

Weapons: Two daggers and hand to hand combat. She has an unspecified combat style, but it could possibly be melee.

Family: The like, 6-7 members of he Snow Warrior Tribe that she lost-

Friends: Furious Five, Po, Shifu, and formerly(?) Tai Lung.

Fears: Snowstorms and accidentally walking on thin ice and drowning in frozen water.

Best friend(s): Monkey, Crane, Mantis.

Crush: *Cough*TaiLung*Cough-*

Likes: Snowball fights, playing in snow in general, running errands, being active, training and sparring, climbing trees, fishing, playing in the streams in summer, helping out.

Dislikes: Not doing anything, swimming at night, boring days, lying, storms (snow or not), being separated from her group, getting hurt, ice lakes because of her fear, and massive enemy raids. Then again who d o e s like them-

Other: Bai was born on April 20th, making her a Taurus. (Or Aries. Idk, websites keep telling me April 20th's are both-)
