Scenario:

Nightbird's guilty of murdering Togami Byakuya, and she has to pay the price.

Possible Triggers:
-Mentions of hanging. (No, not s*!cide, if you're wondering.)
-Mentions of murder. (I mean...it's Danganropa-)

Time frame:
-Before Ishimaru and Mondo were killed, so I think early on? Correct me if I'm wrong.

"Ding Ding Ding! You got it again kiddies! The one who killed Byakuya Togami was none other than NIGHTBIRD!" chimed the oh-so-happy voice of the Ultimate Despair, Monokuma.

Everyone else in the room turned to look at the girl, some with eyes wide in horror, others just stunned. Out of all the students in Hope's Peak, it was her? Nightbird stood with her head down, hands in her pockets, like she had just gotten yelled at by a parent. She stayed silent, and she was visibly trembling.

Her boyfriend, Kiyotaka Ishimaru (or just Ishi), abruptly grabbed her by the shoulders. The sudden action caused her to tense up, moving to look at him. His red eyes were filled with shock and horror.

"Bird...tell me...why...why did you kill him?!" he exclaimed, looking as if he was on the verge of tears. Bird looked away with guilt in her green eyes, and she spoke in no louder than a sort of whisper.

"...I...didn't want to...I couldn't control it...he..." she cut herself off and inhaled sharply, hesitating on saying more. Only Ishimaru and Chihiro knew of her biggest secret: she wasn't fully human. Bird was the result of a behavioral experiment on humans, which sadly failed. There was a half of her brain that was feral and violent- which was triggered under extreme stress. Being in Hope's Peak, and having Togami near her...well...it sort of speaks for itself, doesn't it?

Ishimaru had started crying while she spoke. It made her heart hurt even more. He pulled her into a hug. "Please....don't leave me..."

Bird said nothing, shakily hugging back. She buried her face in his shoulder, tearing up, muttering a small, "I'm sorry."

Ishi abruptly moved and kissed her, which she immediately reacted to by kissing back. After a few seconds, he pulled away, holding her. "I love you so....so much..." he muttered, kissing her forehead. Bird whimpered faintly, a few tears rolling down her face. "I love you too..."

Their moment was suddenly interrupted by Monokuma imitating a snore. "BOOORIIING! Let's just get on to the punishment!" he hissed. Instantly, every muscle in Bird's body tensed.
