Nobody's P.O.V.

Bela sighed, kicking at a rock on the path to school. She and her brother took the long way to school to avoid other students, so they usually arrived late. Why? It was simple.

Bela Demone was one of the two demons that attended the school. She was smaller than the other female, with different features. Bela's skin was ivory-white with silver tints, while the other's was a light red to orange. Bela's horns were larger, sharper, meant for fighting, and she often got them stuck on banners hanging over doorways; the other demon's were just for show, small and on the sides of her head. Bela's tail was long with a sharp triangle shape, used for defense and injury. The other's was spade-shaped like the classic demon. There was no denying, Bela was rather unique, but unfortunately that seemed to be teasing fuel for the bullies of the school.

Every day, they would poke and prod at her horns, taunting her, or make fun of her monotone color palette. The same went for her brother Alyxander, a half-wolf. Anyway...

Alyx looked at his sister, his silver gaze flitting across her expression in attempts to figure out how she was feeling. "You alright?" he questioned in his calm, almost monotone voice.

Bela's gray irises stayed on the ground as they walked. "Yeah..." Alyx flicked his ear. "Is it because of them?"

"...yeah," she mumbled. Alyx sighed. "Don't let them bother you," he replied, glancing up at the sky. He caught some faint silhouettes in the distance of dragon-people or winged mutants flying around. Bela snapped her head up to look at him.

"Easy for you to say, you're almost emotionless!" she puffed. "Of course it doesn't get to you, you don't feel any emotional hurt."

Alyx hummed. "True," he muttered. His wolf tail flicked, the male looking over at her. "Hey. You said your horns could possibly be used for defense, correct?"

Bela nodded.

"Why don't you just stab them with your horns as a warning? I doubt they'd make fun of you after that," he said with a joking tone. The female snorted. "Yeah right! I don't wanna be paying hospital bills, we're broke enough already!" She elbowed him in the arm playfully, her tail wagging. Alyx laughed softly at his sibling. "Right, right," the teen chuckled.

Bela giggled lightly as they approached the building. But her signature, wide smile faded once she noticed a group of kids hanging around the doorway. She stuck close to her brother as they walked up the steps, knowing there was no other way of getting into the school unless they had a key from the staff. The other female demon of the school noticed them and grinned. "Oh, if it isn't the knockoff!" she purred, referring to Bela as the "knockoff" due to her appearance. Alyx paid them no mind and gripped Bela's upper arm, making them both try to speedwalk past.

"Oi!" a the demon exclaimed. "Don't ignore us!"

"Sorry, we don't speak trash, what were you saying?" Alyx shot back, glancing over his shoulder.
