Ok so I decided to redraw some of my older OCs, from like maybe....4 years ago? Or 3/2? I dunno I've lost all track of time-

ANYWAY ON TO THE OCS-

This lovely lady is Talia-

She's my very first Siren/Mermaid OC, I created her in February of 2018. I decided to redesign and rewrite her a little bit-

Now, I don't remember if Talia actually had a solid backstory? I think it was something where she was either a loner or a Siren princess or something to that effect-

I didn't give my OCs much story back then lmao-

Anyway, Talia now has a backstory! Yay!

She isn't royalty/a loner like before, she's just...a normal old siren-

She's the second-youngest of a family pod of five (Sirens travel in pods, like dolphins), with an older brother and a very little sister, with their parents.
Talia and her brother are very close, normally sneaking off to cause mischief at boat docks and steal fish off of fishing lines. Talia's very protective of her little sis, and has saved her from a shark attack (that's where she got the scar on her belly).
Talia often visits fishing hotspots, visiting fishermen and sometimes helping them catch fish by herding them into their nets. She's very friendly with humans, surprisingly- unless she sees them throw trash into the ocean or harm animals, then she goes shark mode-
Speaking of trash, she spends most of her time swimming around the ocean floor, picking up cans/lost nets/jewelry etc, and likes to turn the waste into useful things, and sometimes outfits or accessories. Her armband is made of old fishing net, leather, and a shiny stone. Her belt is made from thin fabric with shells weaved into them, with things like plastic caps, nets, and stones hanging from it. Her top is fabric woven with a cool material she found, and laced with sea-fringe stuff. The wrap on the end of her tail is cosmetic, made of bandages dropped in the ocean and a bracelet she found in the seabed.

So obviously, this little siren baby is very creative and resourceful. (Now that I think about it she's kinda like Ariel-)

Talia does have the ability to turn into a human at will, but doesn't like to since she's not used to human legs and prefers her tail instead-

She's also about 17, her older brother is 19 and her little sister is 12-

Oki onto the next OC-

EDIT: Ok nvm my hand said nope so I'm just...gonna end it here-
I'll probably edit this later when I do somehow get the motivation to draw the next few OCs but otherwise you're stuck with Talia-
