Diesel, in this AU, is a huge prankster (like in the normal universe-). She'll run into small boats on purpose just to scare the passengers or knock them into the water, she'll chase jetskis and occasionally yeets them into the water, all that kinda stuff- She does have a good side though; she'll purposely look for aquatic animals and coral stuck in old nets so she can free them, and having razor-sharp teeth and claws are a huge help. One time she rescued a drowning kid-
Diesel was abandoned as a pup by her pod so she was immediately left to fend for herself. She was abandoned because she has such bright pelt colors, a bunch of predators would attack the pod if they kept her. She learned quickly by watching other sea life, and constantly flicks from one river to the next until she reaches a random ocean. Also, she can breathe underwater; she actually has gill slits hidden under her mane that seal up if she's taken out of water so she can breathe like you and I.
She gets caught in nets a lot. Luckily she's only been pulled up out of water a few times, but she's always escaped by biting the net open- She hasn't been permanently caught y e t -
