Kaminari couldn't move. He was frozen in place, shocked in the middle of battle. The male was snapped out of his daze when the blonde girl hit the ground, hissing in pain from the bloody wound in her gut.
"Mio!" he yelled, running at the villain Hatchet, who was responsible for her wound. The villain whirled just as Kaminari hit her with a burst of electricity, knocking her back. He relied on his allies to take care of her; his main focus was on Mio, who was struggling to breathe. Kaminari skidded on his knees to her side, quickly pulling her onto his lap and trying to stop the bleeding from her abdomen. "Come on Kitten, stay with me, stay with me..." he muttered in a panic, pressing down on the injury with his hand.
Mio coughed a bit, small streams of blood dripping down the side of her mouth. Her wound was like Hatchet had taken her axe and swung it into her middle like a person chopping down a tree. Kaminari panicked, tearing up; none of them had a healing Quirk, and if they got her to the hospital, Mio would have definitely bled out by then. While Kaminari tried and failed to stop the bleeding due to her injury being so fatal, he paused when she lightly thumped her hand on his chest. "Hey Pikachu..." she muttered, "...love you.."
Kaminari gripped her hand, a few stray tears falling down his face. "I- I love you too," he choked. She gave him her small, familiar smile, before he felt her go limp. His heart stopped for a second, before he started crying, knowing what had happened. "N-no, no no no no no no no, Kitten, Kitten please...Mio...Mio wake up..." he cried, holding her. No reply. "Wake up...please. You can't be gone, not now...please, say something, anything!" Again, he was met with heart-shattering silence from the female. He was oblivious to the fact the battle with the villains had ended a while ago.
His friend Bakugo stayed silent, before sighing softly. "Denki. She's gone, she's not coming back," he muttered. Kaminari cried, "N-no, no she can't be gone, sh-she promised...she promised she'd never leave..."
Kirishima hesitantly stepped forward, placing a hand on his shoulder. "She's dead...I'm sorry..." the redhead whispered, tears in his eyes. He'd been one of the many Mio was close friends with.
"D...dead...?"

Kirishima quietly nodded. Kaminari looked back down at Mio, trembling. He hung his head, saying nothing, knowing his friend was right. His Kitten, Mio Raion, was dead.
Then he woke up.
The blonde shot up in his bed, panicking and crying, gripping his sheets. It took him a hot minute to realize where he was; his apartment. He suddenly realized it was all a nightmare.
