Male/Female OCs react: Being jumpscared when walking with their mate

Male OCs:

Alyxander: Instinctively, his tail puffs up and he gets protective of Theo in a snap, so he usually gets in front of her protectively. He's part wolf so he may snarl at first, then realizes it's a friend playing a prank and calms down.

Keane: Similar to Alyx (gets protective of Ari), but he pulls a knife on them and the fur on the back of his neck goes on end. It takes him a second to realize it's a friend playing a prank and not an enemy jumping out to shoot him, but when he does, he untenses.

Adan: His fire power ignites immediately when he thinks he or a loved one's in danger, so he puffs up and some parts of his pelt turn into flames on command. He cools down immediately once he realizes it's a friend though.

Baxter: So you know that vine where the girl jumpscares the guy and he does the fighting stance? Yeah, Baxter does that. He's ready to fight at all times, so he kind of felt stupid when he almost punched a friend.

John: He instantly goes into attack mode. And I mean, within the millisecond he caught the person lunging out from behind the corner, he almost claws their throat out. Luckily he doesn't.

Nightclaw: Floof the wings to assert mass dominance upon your enemies.

No seriously that's literally what he does he just puffs his wings up and hISS.

Luther: That friend is SO lucky he doesn't use his telekinesis right off the bat to attack someone. He gets protective, his fur bristles and his tail fluffs, and he makes this really low growl that says "I'm about to throw you into traffic if you don't get away". Then he realizes it's a friend and just gives them a look after calming down.

Hobs: So this dude is extremely used to being attacked or ambushed because of his backstory. Normally, if he was alone, he'd go into attack mode and probably hit the guy as a warning. But since he's with Middy, his instinct is telling him to protect her instantly, so his body language gets all aggressive and he bristles, but he's holding Middy close and growling at the guy that jumpscared them. When he realizes it's a friend he calms down and just kinda glares for a second.

Harley: (He doesn't have an OFFICIAL girlfriend yet but he's underrated and I wanted to do this with him so-) You'd either have to be an idiot or super brave to jumpscare this guy. In reaction to the scare, his mane spikes up and he almost attacks, but he's just in that aggressive, angry pose that makes him look like he's about to turn the guy into mincemeat. He calms down a little bit when he sees it's just a friend, but he's still kinda mad.

Female OCs:

Bela: Screeches and almost stabs them in defense with her tail. That's it that's all she does, but she didn't actually hit them. She kinda stood there in a scared position frozen for a sec before laughing it off.

Bellatrix: Ever seen a surprised ball of gray floof? That's Bellatrix. She puffs up like a cat and barks at them, mostly since she wouldn't hurt anybody unless they hurt her first.

Kingsley: Either, "aAAAII'M GOnna swiiiiing-" or, "AH! Fuk you-"

Diesel: When she gets spooked, her electrokinesis goes haywire, and when she gets defensive, her power also goes haywire. So mix those two together and you got a defensive-scared fox that's got electricity ready to zap you to death in a millisecond.

Tanya: Almost punches the friend in instinctive retaliation. Then she gets embarrassed when she calms down cuz it was just a prank.

Midnight: A lot like Hobs, she gets ready to slash their face off. Her tail gets all poofy and her stance gets super aggressive, but once she realized that it's just a prank, she's kind of the one calming Hobs down.
