Jonah fell asleep shortly after shedding some tears

It made me happy to see someone actually care about me, but it made me sad that I was the reason he was crying

He currently, was laying on top of me with his head in the crook of my neck

He looked like a big, cute baby

I had gotten an email yesterday from college saying I had to be there on Tuesday, its Sunday

My days were cut short due to some problems over at College

I went to Duke University, it's all the way in Durham, North Carolina and I'm 100% positive its gonna hurt Jonah badly

I already had bought the ticket, the flight will be at 9:00 Am on Monday, tomorrow, the plane would most likely land at 7:42 Pm, making a total of 7 hours and 42 minutes

I had already packed my things two nights before so I didn't have to worry about that

I sighed sadly, I have to tell Jonah as soon as possible

I look at the time, 8:36 Am

"Jonah" I whispered trying to wake him up

He groaned and nuzzled his head farther into my neck

"Jonah, come on, its time to get up," I said shaking him slightly

"No princess" He tightens his grip around me

"Well then let me get up"
"No!" He Whined

"Jonah, I have to tell you something," I say referring to College

"What?" He says looking up at me

My heart started beating a little faster, he looked so calm right now and the way his eyes shun when the sun illuminated them made my insides do something

"It's serious" I mumble

He sat up and I sat up with him, he was giving me the most confused look ever

"Did something happen?" He asks

"Well, yeah... My days were shortened, I have to go back tomorrow" I say looking down

"Wait, like, college?" He asks
I nodded my head still not looking at him

"Don't lie to me, you would be going back on Thursday" He chuckled, thinking I was lying

"No Jonah..." I say looking up at him and his face dropped

"But, you..." He trailed of
"I'm sorry" I mumbled

He got up off the bed and walked out of the room

I followed closely behind in case he were to do something stupid

"Where are you going?"

"Stop following me," he said before entering the bathroom and locking it with a hard slam

"Jonah, please open the door," I say knocking it

"Go Away!"

"Jonah, I know your sad and don't want me leaving but I have to go, it's mandatory"

"No..." He mumbled, letting out a sob

"Baby, please open the door, please" I pleaded

He started bursting into tears and it hurt my heart too much to continue standing there, hearing him cry

I walked into his room and frowned at my reflection

Gosh, I'm such a goddamn disappointment

I find my clothes and start to put them on, placing Jonah's in his closet

I put my shoes on and walked over into his closet again, stealing his red hoodie

I sigh and walk back towards the bathroom and knock on the door, his cries have gotten worse now

"Jonah Marais, Open this door right now!" I demand I wasn't gonna let him cry alone

I knocked on the door and kept knocking nonstop trying to get him to open the door

"Jonah!" I whined

After some time of him not opening the door I decided to act like I was leaving

"If you don't open the door I'll leave now" I lie

I heard quick footsteps and saw the door open, Jonah was standing behind it so, Obviously, I couldn't see him

"Baby?" I say, walking into the bathroom

As I turn to him my heart breaks, there is tons of tears falling down his face and he's visibly shaking

"Jonah," I say pulling him into my arms

"Don't leave me" he cries violently, he was really hurt

"Jonah, look at me"

He lifted his head up to look at me, his eyes looked devastated, he was hyperventilating, his body was shaking, it was pretty bad

"I'll come back, I promise, don't be sad," I say holding his face in my hands

He wrapped his arms around me tightly, lifting me up, he sat me on the counter

He cried, and cried, and cried again

"Jonah, what if... What if you come with me for a week?" I suggest

I know it was allowed to let someone that doesn't go to that college stay in the dorms

He looked up at me with hope in his eyes

"Really?"
I nodded, smiling slightly

And for the first time today, there was the biggest smile on his face
