Jonah comforted Emery for weeks, she didn't eat, she didn't speak, she just sat on her bed looking at Daniel's picture

Emery still didn't believe he was gone

Jonah's daughter, Annabeth had been visiting her as well

Daniel's family was all the way in LA devastated about what had happened, and Anna was flying over to New York the next day

Everything was silent, you couldn't hear anything, rarely now, you would only hear Emery's quiet sobs

Jonah knew he had to be by her side at all times now, especially when she gave birth

But as the days went on, Emery shut everyone out and didn't leave her room, that was until Anna got there

Anna's POV

I walked into Emery's house to see Jonah with a little girl, could it be his daughter?

"Hey Jonah, how has it been?" I asked

"It hasn't been the best, Emery hasn't eaten in a whole week, she hasn't spoken to me either" He sighed

I nodded and looked down at the sleeping girl in his arms

"Is that your daughter?" I asked curiously

"Yeah... Her name is Annabeth" He slightly smiled

"Um... Where is she?" I asked
"She's in her room"

I nod and walked over to her room, slightly knocking on the door and entering

She sat there on the bed looking pale, and once she looked up at me, the sadness was visible in her eyes

"Hey Emmy" I grinned, going to sit next to her

She gave me a quick smile and looked back down at the picture she was holding, It was a picture of Daniel

I bit my lip to stop myself from crying and took a deep breath

"I'm pregnant" She mumbles

Once she said those words I stayed quiet for a bit, trying to process what she had said

I felt myself tear up and pulled her into my arms

"I'm so sorry Emery" I mumbled, tightening my arms around her

Jonah's POV

As Anna walked into Emery's room, Annabeth woke up

"Did mom come home daddy?" She asked looking up at me

"No honey, mom won't be home for a long while" I sadly smiled

"Where did she go? Where is Mommy?" She pouted

"She is... On an adventure somewhere far" I say

She sighed and leaned into me

"I miss her"
"I know love, I miss her too"
