"She won't be coming back, at least not today," Anna told me

I sighed and looked at the ceiling

"Is she mad at you or something?" Anna asked

"No, it's more like I'm mad at her... And I shouldn't be" I mumble

"What did she do to get you mad?" Anna asked

"Nothing, I'm just jealous I guess"
"Of Jonah?" She asks

I nodded, still looking at the ceiling

"Your gonna have to let her go, Daniel, she's our sister"

"Step-sister" I mumble

"The same thing, it's illegal and if mom and dad find out, who knows what would happen," Anna says

"I don't care"

Anna sighed

"When do you care Daniel? What if they find out? What if we won't be able to see her anymore? Will you care then?" Anna asked

"They won't find out, period"

"You know what, I'm done," Anna said and left

I grabbed my phone and called Emery
She didn't pick up though

Jonah's POV

I currently laid on my bed starring at the ceiling, bored as hell

Then, I got a message from none other than Tatum Dahl

No, you cant

I rolled my eyes and walked downstairs and sat on my couch

Then the doorbell rang
I opened the door to see Emery

"What are you doing here?" I asked
"I can't come to visit?" She smiled

She walked by me and sat on the couch

I shut the door and sat next to her

"How is Daniel? I heard he was in the hospital"

"He's fine"
"Doesn't sound like it," I say laying on her lap

"He's being distant but he's alright, no need to worry"

She played with my hair making me sleepy

"What do you wanna do?" I asked
"Cuddle" she smiled

"Say less" I chuckled and picked her up, going up to my room

I got in the bed with her and instantly pulled her close to me

She giggled and got comfortable, closing her eyes

"I love you" I mumbled
"I love you too..." She said, sounding unsure
