Daniel? She did not just say his name...
Suddenly, she passes out and the machine starts beeping
"Emery!" I shake her
"I'll go get a doctor," Anna said quickly
My heart started beating faster, if Daniel is actually alive and he's the cause for something bad to happen to Emery, I swear I'll go crazy
The doctors came rushing in and I was pushed back
I tried to see what they were doing but there were way too many doctors in the way
"I'm going to have to ask you guys to step out," A doctor tells us
"What? No way! I need to know if she's okay!" I rant
"Sir, please step out, we'll let you know once we're done," The doctor said
Anna grabbed my arm and took me out of the room
I sat down outside and started crying
"Daddy, why are you sad?" Annabeth asked
I look up at Annabeth and sigh
"Just... I miss Mommy" I tell her
She nods and wraps her tiny arms around my neck
"Mommy will come back! She's just sleeping right now" Annabeth smiled, which made me smile
"It'll be okay," Anna said rubbing my back
"I really hope so" I mumble and wipe my tears
Time skip 15 minutes later
As soon as the doctors came out of the room, we all stood up
"Is mommy awake?" Annabeth asked the doctor
The doctor slightly smiled and looked at us
"She is awake now, but whatever caused her to pass out did affect her a little, but she'll be fine, the baby is fine" The doctor smiles
I let out a breath I was holding in as he said those words
"You can go in and see her," He said and left
I walked in and saw Emery awake
She looks at me and gives me a weak smile
"Hey Em," I say
"Hi Marais"
"Are you okay? What did you mean when you said Daniel's name?" I asked, holding her hand
Her smile drops and she looks away
"... I heard his voice... It was him..." She mumbles
Daniel cant be alive, the girl on the phone said there were no survivors
"So... He's alive?" I ask
She shrugs, no emotion on her face

I stared at the door, feeling lost, if Daniel is alive, where did he go? And why?
Suddenly, I started to get a pain in my stomach again
"Do you need me to get a doctor?" Jonah asked concerned
I nodded and groaned when the pain got stronger
Jonah left the room when Anna and Keri walked in
"Hey Em, it's gonna be alright, just hang on," Anna said coming to my side
Then the doctors came in and checked me and gave us a look
"She's ready to give birth"
