Emery seemed sad for the next 4 days, when we finally got home, she still was in a mood

"Come on Em, you need to eat bub," I say trying to get her to eat

"But I'm not hungry" She mumbles

"I didn't ask, you haven't eaten for a while, your going to eat," I say

I gave her a plate of food and all she did was just poke it with her fork

Sighing, I grabbed the fork and started feeding her myself

She gave me a look before eating it

Time skip

Anson laid in my arms smiling since Emery was making dumb faces

"He's so cute" I coo
"He really is," Emery said

"Daddy!" Annabeth said coming through the door with Anna

"Hey princess" I smiled as she stood in front of me with a big smile

"Hi Anson, hi mommy!" She said cheekily

"Hey beautiful" Emery smiled and turned to Anna

"Can we talk?" Anna asked Em and she nods

Annabeth got onto the couch and sat next to me, admiring the little boy in my hands

"Daddy, is he my brother?" Annabeth asked

I chuckle and look down at Anson, he basically is considered her brother

I nodded and she smiled, looking back down at Anson

His eyes were open, and he just stared at me and started smiling

Emery Addams

"What's up?" I asked her as we entered my room

"Is Jonah... You know... Taking Daniel's place in Anson's life?" She asked me

I bit my lip and nodded

"Daniel actually showed up at the hospital after you left with Annabeth... He was saying he was sorry and that he didn't have a choice...at least he got to hold him... He looked so happy at that moment..." I closed my eyes, not wanting to cry

"So... It was actually him on the phone? He's alive?" Anna said in disbelief

I nodded
"Unbelievable..."

Then, the doorbell rang

"Anna! Someone is here for you!" Jonah said

We both walked out of the room and went to where Jonah was and saw an angry look on his face, then we saw who we weren't expecting

"This is actual bullshit," Anna said, obviously angry

"No cursing in front of Annabeth" Jonah mumbled

"Anna... Let's just talk, please?" Daniel pleaded

Anna sighed and stepped out, closing the door

I turned to Jonah with an annoyed look

"Why is he acting okay?" I complained
"I'm wondering the same thing"

Anna Seavey

"What Daniel?" I rolled my eyes

"Can you please not be mad at me? I already have enough to deal with already" He sighed

"Daniel, You faked your death!" I raised my voice

"It wasn't my fucking choice!" He snapped

"Then who the fuck told you to fake your death? Was this person such a threat?" I asked

He sighed, his eyes tearing up

"You remember Eva? She was the one who came up with the plan... She fell for me and she wanted me... She said if I didn't go with her, then she would kill Emery in front of me... And everyone I love..."

"You let a bitch like her control you?!" I yelled

"I already fucking told you! I didn't have a fucking choice!" He yells through tears

I shook my head and shrugged

"Well, you can go back, I don't want to see you again-"

I was cut off by the door opening, revealing Emery with Anson in her arms

"Who's Eva?"
