"Is this one of your tricks to get rid of him?" I asked not believing him

"I'm telling the truth Emery" He groaned

He said my name, maybe he is telling the truth

"You have proof?" I asked

He took out his phone and scrolled through his camera roll before clicking on a video and handing it to me

It showed him and Tate kissing, wait, he's in a club, he posted a picture in that club two weeks ago

I still didn't know whether to believe him or not

"No, I don't believe it, Tate was his girlfriend three years ago, Daniel, I need more proof to believe you," I tell him

He sighed and swiped, there was a picture

They were in the background and there was a sign with the date on it

"That was two weeks ago Babes, you have to believe me" Daniel pleaded

I bit my lip and sighed, I guess he was right, Jonah was playing me the whole entire time

I turned off the phone and gave it to him

Daniel parked in a Wendy's parking lot and turned to me

"Do you believe me now?" He asked grabbing my hand

I glanced at him and back outside

"I don't know what to believe anymore Daniel" I sighed

He got out of the car and opened my door

"Come, let's go eat," He said grabbing my hand

I closed the door and held his arm

We walked inside and sat down, I made Daniel sit next to me because I didn't like sitting alone

"What do you want?" He asked
"Anything without onions," I told him

"Alright, I'll be back," He said and left to order

I looked around before putting my head down

I felt like crying but I didn't want to worry Daniel, so I kept it in

"Emery?" Someone asked

I picked up my head to see Zach and Kay

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked

"We were driving around and we made it here, are you alone?" Zach asked

"No, I came from Carolina, Daniel is over there," I say pointing at him

"Oh, okay," Zach said and went over to him

Kay sat down next to me and gave me a tight hug

"Everyone has missed you like crazy! Jonah even started crying one day" she exclaimed

"Jonah? Crying? Are you sure?" I asked dumbfounded

"Yeah, I even have a video" she giggled pulling out her phone

This is confusing

She showed me the video and indeed, he was crying while holding my Teddy Bear

"He's so adorable" she laughed
"Yeah, he is..."

She noticed something was off and gave me a concerning look

"What's wrong?" She asked

"Well, Daniel showed me a video of Jonah and Tate kissing, apparently it was two weeks ago, but I don't know"

"In a club? And they were in the background?" She asked

"Yeah, you saw it?" I asked

"Girl, that isn't Jonah, that was that one kid in high school that everyone said looked like him, remember Caleb?"

"That was Caleb? Like, Nerdy Caleb?" I asked giggling

"Yeah, that's him" she giggled
"I was not expecting that at all,"

"Me either, but that day, at the same time was when this video was taken, of him crying, so don't worry," Kay reassured me

I nodded and smiled, I was so relieved

Daniel and Zach came back with food and smiled at us

"What were you guys talking about?" Zach asked

"Oh, Jonah crying about Em" Kay laughed

I chuckled and looked over at Daniel, he was giving me a look that I knew oh so well

"Well, I'm hungry," I say and start eating
