I looked at the ocean

Everything seemed... Simple, but I knew it wasn't

I sighed and looked back down at her
She looked peaceful, calm

I knew back rubs were her favorite, so are tummy rubs

I smiled at the fact that she had fallen asleep in my arms

She then shivered, she was cold

I took off my jacket carefully and I put it around her

She was pretty small, so the jacket looked almost like a blanket on her

She snuggled into me, making me chuckle

I looked at the time, 9:26 Pm

I picked her up along with the blanket we were laying on and walked back to the car

I laid her down in the back seat because I knew she would be uncomfortable in the front

I put the blanket away and grabbed a clean one for Emery

I carefully put the blanket around her and got in the car

I left the parking lot, wondering if I should take her home or to my house

Her phone started ringing, I grab it and read the name of the caller

Her sister was calling so I picked up

Hello? Em?

Um, I'm Jonah, she fell asleep a couple of minutes ago

Oh okay, I was just making wondering where she was

Yeah, quick question, do you want me to take her home, she can stay at mines if it isn't a problem

She can stay with you but wake her up so she can change, she will hate you if you let her sleep with those chains on her

Well, take care, and take care of her too

I looked back at Em to make sure she was okay and smiled
