The doctors had told us we could see them an hour ago, but they are both in a coma

Every time I looked at Daniel and Emery my heart broke more, was he out of his mind for not paying attention to the road?

"Emmy?" Someone whispered

I looked up in surprise to see Daniel had woken up

"Daniel!" I said excitedly
"What happened?" He asked when he saw Emery laying in a coma next to him

"You both were in a car crash, she hit her head twice, it was pretty bad and the doctors said she may have memory loss"

Daniel looked over at Emery and reached out to hold her hand

Everyone had gone to get food and said they'd be back soon

His eyes teared up as he kept looking at Emery

"Were you guys arguing?" I asked
He nodded

"Is she going to remember me?" Daniel asked

"I don't know Daniel, she still in a coma"

A tear slipped from Daniel's eye as he kept looking at her

"It's my fault..." He mumbles
"Don't say that"

"It is though, she kept telling me to pay attention to the road and I didn't listen, I just kept on talking," Daniel said

He turned to lay on his side

"I'm such a fucking dumbass" He mumbles

"Stop saying that Daniel,"

"You know, she was gonna surprise you on thanksgiving, that's why she was so excited in the morning..." I said looking at Emery

"What was the surprise?" Daniel asked

"She told me about the promise thing, and she was saying that she wanted to break it, but not just because of a sexual desire... That day we were talking and she was 'asleep', she actually heard us... She wanted to show you that she loved you... More than ever..." I mumbled

Daniel gripped her hand tightly, his tears started falling quickly

"She was so excited..." Daniel mumbled

My heart hurt to see Daniel and Emery in this state, but I've never seen Daniel cry so much for a girl

"How long have I been in a coma?" Daniel asked

"Four days," I tell him

Emery's POV 😉

I was in a dark place, I couldn't see what was ahead of me, the air was cold, I felt scared

I walked a couple of steps but everything was too dark

Wheres Daniel? I wondered
Wheres Anna?

I look around but it was just pure darkness and silence

Help! I tried to say
But I couldn't speak

Then I heard Daniel's voice
"How long have I been in a coma?"

Coma? What coma?
"Four days" Anna replied

I started freaking out, what the hell was happening?

I ran but the darkness was still there

"I want her to wake up already," Daniel said

Am I asleep? This was all so confusing to me

"Daniel, she's in a coma, nobody ever knows when she will wake up"

I'm in a coma, but how did I get here?

"If it weren't for me to crash, if I had listened to her, she wouldn't be here" Daniel broke down

We crashed.

"Daniel don't cry," Anna said sadly

Am I in the hospital? I've been in a coma for 4 days?

I had to wake up, but how?

I looked up and saw a small glowing feather

It fell on my hand
Is this supposed to help me?

I held it up to my heart and prayed that I would get out of here, even if its the last thing I do

"I miss you Emmy" Daniel mumbles

I miss you too
