The whole day Emery had been ignoring me by saying she was busy with something and it was getting me pretty sad

"Emery," I said as I walked into her room

"Yeah?"

"Pay attention to me, you've avoided me all day!" I whined

She looks up at me and back down at her work

I rolled my eyes and walked out of her room

I sat on the couch and turned on the TV

I heard footsteps approaching and stop right behind me

She jumped over the couch and snuggled into me

"I'm sorry" she mumbled

I wrapped my arms around her and sighed

"It's okay"

"Daniel?" I said as I knocked on the door

"Go away Anna" he mumbled
"Open the door, Daniel, please"

The door opens and Daniel is there looking devastated

"What happened?" I said as I gave him a hug

"Stuff," he says as he turns and sits on his bed

I shut the door and sat next to him

"Is it about Emery?" I asked
"Yeah"

I sighed and grabbed his hand

"I know you miss her Daniel, she'll come back, before you know it" I smiled trying to help him

"Yeah, on thanksgiving" he rolled his eyes

He gripped my hand and closed his eyes

"I did something Bad" he mumbles
"What? What did you do?" I asked

"Me and Emery, we... We don't see each other as siblings... " he tells me

"What do you mean, there isn't really anything wrong with that," I tell him

"We... Well, we kinda... I kinda got a little distracted and... " he struggled

"Daniel, say it"

"I like her, Anna, not as a friend, like, I have a crush on her" He mumbles

My mouth opened to say something but I couldn't

"And I may have kissed her before" he cries

"Woah, Woah, Woah, it's okay, don't cry," I say hugging him

"It's so wrong"

"Yeah, it may be but... You guys haven't... Done anything too extreme, right?" I asked

"N.Not really" he stuttered

"Its fine Daniel, don't cry, everything will be just fine," I say rubbing his back
