I hesitated to kiss back, I didn't know what to do at the moment

"Daniel... We shouldn't do this" I say pulling away

"Is it because of Jonah?" He asked

"No, it just doesn't feel right" I mumbled

"What do you mean Emery? All of a sudden it doesn't feel right?" He huffed

"Daniel, can we just drop this? Please?"

"Emery, serious question, do you even love me anymore?"

The room went silent, you couldn't hear anything

I kept my eyes on my hands, making eye contact would just give away the answer

Anna's POV

"Emery, serious question, do you even love me anymore?" Daniel asked Em

You could hear the pain in Daniel's voice when he asked the question

I bit my lip, waiting for the answer

I heard a sigh and footsteps getting closer so I stepped back

Daniel came out of the room with an evident frown on his face

He walked past me and into his room, but I followed him

"Daniel, did she give you an answer?" I asked

"It doesn't matter if she did or did not, she doesn't want to be with her brother Anna" He sighed, laying down on his bed

"Daniel, we both know you aren't considered siblings, not anymore"

"Anna, get over it, if she doesn't want it to happen, it won't happen anymore"

Is this really happening? Is he actually done with her? After all the fighting he did? He's just giving up? Daniel doesn't give up, not when he loves someone

"Daniel, you're not giving up on Emery, right?"

"Yes, I am, I still love her, but all we will ever be is siblings, that's all," He said

Emery's POV

Anna barged into my room, almost giving me a heart attack

"Seriously? After everything that's happened? Your gonna let this happen?"

"Anna, what are you talking about?"

"Daniel! He said he's giving up because you don't wanna be with him anymore, he said he's done, He loves you!" She raised her voice

"Anna, calm down," I say trying to get her to lower her voice

"No, you guys were so happy together! And you had to ruin it! You had to ruin my brother's happiness! He loved you!"

"What the hell is happening?" Dad asked coming into the room

"Emery ruined Daniel's happiness? How?" Keri asked coming into the room as well
