I mean, I did kinda expect a question like that but how do I answer it?

He gently laid Anson down, then pulled me into his arms

"You love him more... Don't you?" He mumbles

"I could never..." I mumble looking up at him

He doesn't say anything after that, just looks down at me with sad eyes

Then, my phone dings

I grab it to see that Jonah had texted me

Are you okay? Do you need anything?

I'm fine, are you okay?

Missing you and Anson, but I'm fine😁

We'll be home soon, don't worry

How is Daniel?

He's better

Well, that's good, I'll head to sleep then, see you tmr?

See you tmr Marais, goodnight

Goodnight

I turn off my phone and look back up to Daniel to see him slowly falling asleep

I giggle and lay him down, grabbing Anson and putting him in the middle

I turn off the lights and lay down

Suddenly, I feel Anson move to Daniel's side

Daniel chuckled lowly and pulled me closer to them

"Goodnight Em... Goodnight little guy" Daniel whispers

He kisses my head and then kisses Anson

"Goodnight Daniel.."

Next Day

The next morning, I woke up tired and to the crying of Anson

I looked over to the entrance and saw Daniel trying to feed Anson

He turned to me and I could see that he didn't know what to do

I stood up and grabbed Anson from his hands, grabbing the milk bottle as well

Anson stopped crying as soon as I held him

"Wow, so you don't like me now? Say less" Daniel said crossing his arms

"He cant speak though..." I giggle

He playfully rolls his eyes and kisses my cheek

"Good morning, breakfast is ready, and there is an extra toothbrush in the bathroom," Daniel said walking back into the kitchen

I smile and look back down at Anson

"You are gonna get on my nerves, aren't you?"

Anson suddenly nods and I gasp
"You meanie" I smiled

Time skip

After eating breakfast and brushing my teeth, we start heading back to my house

"Promise me you won't hurt yourself," I tell Daniel as I got home

"I promise ma'am," Daniel said, turning to me

"Good, and if you wanna see Anson, don't be scared to come here or ask to spend the week with him, he is your child anyway," I say

"Alrighty" Daniel chuckles, handing me the bag for the baby

"I'll see you soon?" I ask getting out of the car

"See you soon Em" He smiled

"Alright then, See you" I waved and walked into my home

"Mommy!" I hear Annabeth scream

"Hey princess" I smile as I crouched down and gave her a hug

I see Jonah appear and approach me
He grabs the bag and sets it down, then, gives me a passionate kiss

"I missed you too" I chuckle
He smiles and hugs me, then grabs Anson from my arms

"Where's Anna?" I asked him

"She had to go back home, something with one of her close friends"

"Oh alright, I'm gonna go take a bath then," I tell him

"Can I join?" He asks
"Who's gonna take care of the children?" I asked

"I can put them to sleep" Jonah shrugged

"Well, alright then" I chuckle and head to the bathroom
