Annabeth had decided to head back to sleep and I decided to cook since nobody here except Annabeth had eaten

"What are you cooking?" I hear Anna say behind me

"Just some pasta, Its Emery's favorite," I say

"You know... If it weren't for you, She could have possibly taken her life after she heard about Daniel..."

I bit my lip and sighed
"I'm glad I came..."

It became silent for a bit until Anna spoke again

"Hey Em," she said

Did she come out of her room?

"Jonah is cooking so we don't have to order anything anymore" she smiled

I turned to see Emery with a small smile on her face

Then she looked over at me
She looked happy for once

I turned back to the stove and kept cooking

Time skip

"Daddy! Look, a butterfly!" Annabeth said, pointing at the butterfly that had somehow made its way into the house

All of us chuckled at the little one being excited for a butterfly

"Come here love, you gotta finish your food," I say picking her up and sitting her on my lap

"She looks so much like you" Anna smiled

"Yeah she does, especially in the eyes" Emery said

I smiled and looked down at my daughter, she really was my happiness

Then, Annabeth looked over at Emery

"Is it true you are gonna have a baby?" She said excitedly

Emery smiles and nods, looking up at me

"Ooh, what do you think its gonna be? I think its gonna be a boy!" Annabeth giggles

Anna laughs

"I think its gonna be a boy as well," Anna says

"Twins" Emery grinned

I chuckle, remembering high school, when she told me she wanted twins, a girl, and a boy to be exact

"I'm gonna have friends!" Annabeth squealed

We all laughed and continued with our conversation
