Like expected, the day Jonah would leave came faster than ever
I currently sat in the car, Jonah was in the passenger seat and I was in the back, just hoping not to cry today
Jonah looked back at me and smiled, damn, I'm gonna miss that smile
He reached back and held my hand
One of his friends was driving, he and I were the only ones that came to say goodbye since everyone else was busy
I looked outside my window and saw the airport getting closer every second
Once we made it to the parking lot and went inside, I felt my anxiety start to rise up my throat
I held Jonah's hand as we walked to his gate
"I have a couple of minutes before I leave," He tells us
I was looking down at my shoes, I felt like if I made eye contact with anyone, they would start laughing at me
"Em," Jonah said, crouching in front of me
His blue eyes seemed brighter than ever, a small smile displayed on his face
"You're not gonna cry, are you?" He asked
"No" I lied
He pouted and pulled me into a hug
"Let's make another promise," He tells me, pulling away slightly to look up at me
"What is it this time?"
"Promise me that no matter what relationship your in, ours will always be the most special to you" He bit his lip
I smile and nod
"I promise Marais"
He pulled me into a tight hug and then his flight was called
"That's my cue," He said pulling away from the hug and kissing my forehead
"I love you, Emery, Forever" He smiled gently
"I love you too Jonah, For a lifetime,"
He smiled and went to say goodbye to his friend
"See you soon Addams" He smirked slowly walking to his gate
"You know it Marais" I smiled, tears forming in my eyes
