I walked down the escalator of the airport, I was finally back home after so long

Kay and Zach were picking me up, I wanted to surprise everyone because they thought I was coming next week

"Emery!" Kay screams as she runs up to me

She tackles me in a hug while laughing

"I missed you!" She giggles
"I missed you too kay" I chuckle standing up

"Emery Addams, with blue hair," Zach said walking up to us

"Hello to you sir," I say and hug him
"Well let's go! I'm hungry" Kay said

"Let's go then," Zach said and we walked to the car

Time skip

Zach had dropped me off in front of my house, I was beyond nervous

I walk up to the door and I'm about to knock and the door opens, revealing Anna

"Emery!" She screamed, hugging me tightly

I see that everyone else appeared at the door a couple of seconds later

"Em!" Keri cheered

I hugged everyone, but Daniel wasn't there

"Cmon, let's go upstairs," Anna said pulling my arm

We walked into my room and sat on my bed

"I thought you were coming next week!" Anna said surprised

"I wanted to surprise you" I chuckle

"Daniel actually went out to buy everyone's gift"

"You just reminded me that I need to go gift shopping" I groaned

"Let's go together, I need to finish buying some gifts," Anna said

"Sure, let's go later today, I wanna watch a Christmas movie right now"

"Should I ask the others if they wanna join?" Anna asked

"Sure," I say

I turn on the TV and dimmed the lights

"Everyone else is busy with Christmas stuff, but I think Daniel might wanna join, he's almost home," Anna tells me

"Alright" I mumbled

I had no clue if Daniel was mad at me, and seeing him after all this time might be a bit nerve-wracking

"Okay, what are we watching?" She asked curiously

"The grinch?" I suggested
"Ooh Yes!" She said excitedly

"Don't start the movie without me" I heard a familiar voice say
