3rd Person

The night was definitely a night to remember, Daniel made love to her like it was the last time he was gonna see her

You could tell that in Emery's eyes, she didn't want the night to end

"Can we stop time?" She asked after quietly moaning

Daniel gripped onto her tightly and speeded up as he felt like he was almost at climax

"It doesn't have to end... We could leave together, somewhere far away"

Her moans got louder and louder until they both hit climax

They held onto each other for a long time, not wanting to check the time in case their time was already over...

"Do you wanna leave with me Em? We don't ever have to come back" Daniel asked Emery

his eyes held hope, he wanted to escape with her, somewhere where they didn't have to hide

"Daniel, we have a family and friends, we can't escape"

He sighed and sat up with her

He kissed her passionately, the lady he was in love with, the lady he could not have...

As for Emery, she felt like crying, she loved him, yes, but there was Jonah, and she wanted to be with him...

The night went on, Daniel making love to Emery, for the last time, and Emery hoping time would stop, just for a bit longer

Morning came, Emery woke up to the smell of food

She sat up and looked down when the blanket slipped off of her, revealing her naked self, and all those memories of last night coming back, or earlier that day...

She stood up and wrapped the blanket around her

As she walked to the kitchen, she saw Daniel in a robe cooking

He turned and smiled slightly

Then the thought of not being able to love her physically came to mind and his smile vanished

He turned back and kept cooking, his heart breaking slowly

She felt his pain when she saw his smile fade

"Daniel..." She mumbled as she stepped closer to him

"Stay away, please..."

He didn't want to be mean, but if she were to get too close, he would break the promise he made to himself

Her heart shattered at his words, she felt like she had just been slapped in the face...

She went to sit on the couch and bit her lip, trying her best not to cry

The tears fell though

Daniel finished cooking and went to call Emery but when he saw her crying, his heart had also shattered

He walked up to her and made her stand

If he was gonna break the promise, it would only be for a short second, that's all

"Foods ready" He mumbled picking up her head and wiping her tears

"I'm not hungry," she said
"Come on, I'm not letting you starve"

He walked her to the kitchen and sat her down on the island counter

He put a plate of food in front of her but she just wouldn't eat

He sat next to her and made her face him

"Please eat," He asked

Emery decided that she should eat, but she didn't have an appetite

Emery wanted to lay in his arms and just make love to him again... But she knew that won't happen again

...

Some time passed and now Daniel and Emery sat apart from each other

They would not look at each other or speak

Daniel wanted so badly to go over to where she was and kiss her

Emery wanted the same, but she knew it wouldn't happen

"Let's go home," She says and starts to grab her clothes

Her shirt was right next to Daniel and when she went to grab it, Daniel grabbed her arm

"What are you doing?" Emery asked

Daniel couldn't control the urge to just hold her anymore

Daniel pulled Emery onto him and smashed his lips on hers

And so the promise was broken, But who cared? Obviously not them

Emery was taken aback at first, but she started kissing him back

Daniel pushed the blanket off of Emery and pulled her closer

And once again, They made love to each other
