Its been a whole week since Daniel woke up, Emery was still in a coma though

All their friends had come to visit, everybody cried, even Jonah

Daniel hadn't slept much, just waiting for the moment when she would open her eyes and speak

Currently, it was 1:30 Am, Daniel and I were awake, the others were at home

"I can't keep waiting, Anna, I need to talk to her" Daniel complained

"Daniel, we have to wait"

"But the doctor said to consider taking her off life support!" He raised his voice

"Keep quiet! It's late" I sighed

"What's gonna happen when they do take her off life support? Nothing is ever gonna be the same! Now that I've found a girl that I love with my whole life, She's gonna die? Now that I finally found her?" Daniel said, starting to tear up again

"Stop it, Daniel," I said, my voice cracking

"No, You don't understand! I love her Anna! I don't wanna fucking lose her!"Daniel said, Tears streaming down his face

"We don't know what's gonna happen yet! Can you chill?" I asked

"Yeah, If nothing happens, She dies!" Daniel cried

I sighed and looked over at Emery

"Daniel! Look!" I said pointing at her
He turned and his eyes widened

She opened her eyes

"Emmy, how are you," He asked holding her hand, his voice cracked, but he seemed happy

She looked around the room, then she looked at Daniel and she seemed... Confused

"Can you speak?" I asked her
She shook her head

Daniel and I looked at each other confused, and then back at her

She started using her hands though

"Sign language," Daniel said
Emery nodded

"I know a bit of sign language," I say

She signed 'Im scared'
"She said she's scared"

"Why?" Daniel asked

"She said that while she was in the coma, she was in a dark place," I told Daniel

He turned to me with a concerned look

"Do you remember us?" Daniel asked
"She said that all she remembers is that I'm Anna, your Daniel and that we are her siblings"

"That's it?" Daniel asked sadly

She signed 'why was he saying he loved me so much? Was that in a sibling way?'

"Oh no Em, it wasn't in a sibling way..." I tell her

"What she say?" Daniel asked

"She asked if what you said, about loving her, if it was in a sibling way type of love," I told him

His facial expressions told me that he was disappointed that she didn't remember him as anything else

"She said she'll try her best to remember," I told Daniel

He nodded sadly

"I'm gonna go home to get some sleep, you guys take care," I say and leave

Daniel's POV

I laid down and looked at the ceiling, she really doesn't remember what was going on between us

I mean, I guess that's good because now we don't have to worry about being caught...

But I still love her

She tapped my arm so I turned to her
"What's up?" I asked

"I'm s.sorry..." She stuttered in a low voice

"No, it's okay, you don't need to apologize," I tell her with a smile

She extended her hand out for me to hold, so I did

"Goodnight Em"

She waved back, as a way of saying goodnight and we drifted off to sleep
