I woke up to the smell of food, is Daniel cooking?

I opened my eyes and saw Daniel had ordered food

"Good morning, how was your sleep?" He asked

I remember last night and how he cuddled me, it was pretty nice

"It was okay, did you sleep well?" I asked curiously

"Yup," He smiled

I went over to my suitcase and opened it to grab my toothbrush

"I'll be back," I say and head to the bathroom

After I finished brushing my teeth I go back out and see Daniel on his phone

"You haven't started eating?" I asked
"I was waiting for you," He tells me

I nod and sit next to him

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's eat!" I say and we start eating

Every now and then I would look over at Daniel to see him looking back at me

Time skip

"Where are we going first?" I asked him as we got ready to go out

"Maybe explore first and then we can go to the beach," He said

I nod and grabbed my swimsuit

"You ready?" He asked looking me up and down

"Yup!" I say, popping the 'p'

"Alright let's go then!" He said excitedly

We head out and firstly go pick up the rental car

Time skip

We drove everywhere for the whole day and our last destination was the beach

"I'll race you to the ocean" Daniel smirked

I immediately got out of the car and ran to the ocean, but Daniel was faster and picked me up

"Put me down!" I squealed

He kept running to the ocean and threw me in once he had made it

I resurfaced and pouted at Daniel

"You know I was gonna win anyway" He chuckles swimming towards me

"Not fair," I said swimming away

"Where are you going?" He said grabbing my leg and pulling me back

Now, we were a little bit too close

It was quiet, His eyes locked with mine

I'm still confused as to why he had told me to be with Jonah, does he not love me anymore?

Daniel wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close until there was only a small space left in between us

"What are you doing?" I asked confusedly

He took deep breaths then pushed me away

"Daniel wait," I said grabbing his arm

"No, let me go," He said and started swimming back to shore

I followed him and pulled him back

"Why are you being like this?" I asked
"Don't worry about it," He said trying to walk away

I pulled him closer and kissed him, he didn't hesitate to kiss back

"No, stop," He says pulling away
"Why?" I asked confused

"Because that's not right" He mumbles, walking away

Since when did he care?
