Chapter 30: The Airport! Part 2: Work.

When Cynthia wakes up with Royce, she begins to question (to) why she had to wake up so early.

Cynthia: "Why?! Why do we have to wake up so early, Royce?!" The Sylveon replied while still somewhat under the influence of sleep.

Royce: "Work! I~ I, uh, I got to get ready for work," Royce tells his reliable, caring, and understandable best-friend and family member. Then Royce got up, changed out of his pajamas, put on a good pair of blue jeans, took one of his Sylveon Shirts from his suit-case, then he goes to get his Class III (3) Safety Vest from the side of his bed, goes into the kitchen, gets his Hard-Hat, prepares his lunch box, feeds Cynthia her daily portion of breakfast, then the duo wait for 20-35 minutes for Bertha to wake up and prepare herself to take them to work. After a few minutes later, Royce and Cynthia arrive at Star Construction at 5:51 A.M., THEN got ready for their breakfast routine. And after everyone was done eating their breakfast at Hardee's, the Crew went to their own assigned job-sites. Royce, Cynthia, and Royce's Co-Worker: Co-Worker 1 went to Elkton to Flag for a guy named Mike, the trio then found a spot that was large enough for 1 AT&T truck and 1 Star Construction Utility Vehicle. After Mike arrived a few minutes after Royce, Co-Worker 1 and Cynthia, Mike began giving Royce and Co-Worker 1 (Cynthia was new to Mike, so he didn't talk to her much.) instructions on where to begin Flagging, and where he was going to begin Splicing. After instructions were given, Royce, Co-Worker 1, and Cynthia went out to certain parts of a road, then to put out 3 Signs; 2 Flagger Signs and 1 "One Lane Road Ahead" Sign.

Once the Signs were out, the trio went all the way back to Mike, whom was pre-occupied with something. After Mike was "doing his thing," he asked Royce if he had his Signs out. Royce said he did, resulting in Mike starting up his truck and heading straight to a Hand-Hole to begin working.

Suddenly, Co-Worker 1 told Royce to get into the truck, once he got into the truck with Co-Worker 1~ Co-Worker 1 then dropped Royce off at a straight-segment end of a road, then Royce grabs his Sign (Flag) and begins Flagging traffic on his end, Co-Worker 1 doing the same thing as well. And this went on for several hours, although the temperature was moderately discomforting, Royce dealt with it as if it was NOTHING to him. Several hours later... Cynthia saw Royce sweating (profusely), she began to get concerned, seeing how exhausted and somewhat fatigued he was.

Sometime after work...

8.1.2019

Royce and Cynthia wait for Bertha to come and pick them up 30 minutes later. After the two were picked up, they saw several different groceries, with his 14-year-old (Human) sister in the passenger seat, so Cynthia and Royce then enter the back seat and go all the way back home. Once everyone got back home, Royce went straight to his room, with Cynthia following close behind. The two immediately turned on the TV and Royce's PS4, then began watching YouTube and Netflix all the way until 9:31 P.M. right before going straight to sleep. The next day, Royce woke up at the same time (5:00 A.M.), alarm clock blazing loudly, Cynthia gets annoyed because of it, and decides to throw it half-way across their room, smashing it to bits as a result.

Royce: "Now what did I tell you about throwing things in my room, Cynthia?! You can't be doing things like this, those things are expensive! All because you find it annoyingly irritable, and anger-inducing. But I HAVE TO wake up to those alarm clocks you keep smashing, or I WILL be late! And I DON'T want to be late because of a Sylveon that HATES waking up to loud noises! I'm sorry to say this Cynthia, but you can't come with me to work, today, it's just... I don't want to worry about you, and I also know you ALWAYS worry about me!" Royce informed the Sylveon as she was disappointed that she couldn't go with Royce. SO Cynthia decides to get Royce's lunch out of the refrigerator; a Sparkling Welch's + Energy, Powerade Energy Drink, Water, some snacks, Spearmint Gum, and a sub-sandwich with ham, pepperoni, and salami.
