Chapter 64: Helping Giri Settle In...

The Next Morning...

To catch up on what happened last Chapter: Royce brings Giri from Astra after "getting aggressive" with one of the Researchers and so he brings her (Giri) back to War-Fang so the people of Astra would be safe(r).

Royce wakes up, noticing his Sylveon, Cynthia, sleeping on top of his chest while also wrapping a ribbon around his arm.

Royce: "Cynthia, come on, wake up," Royce gently shakes the Sylveon, "Cynthia, time to meet your new friend!" He said referring to the Great-Girros.

Cynthia: "Five more minutes..."

Knowing this excuse, Royce only said one word.

Royce: "Food."

Cynthia: "Where?!"

Royce: "Good, you're up. I have a new friend for you to meet."

Cynthia: Who?" She asked wanting to know who this "Friend" was.

Royce: "I want you to meet her yourself..."

Cynthia: "I feel a bit coming on!..."

Royce: "But you must promise me not to attack her. Do you promise? You have to promise, please?"

Cynthia: "I promise..."

Royce: "You have to mean it, Cynthia!"

Cynthia: "I DO!"

Royce: "OKay."

The the 2 got up and ready, with Royce getting himself ready and dressed for the day. This was when the duo left their room and went towards Giri's room.

Royce: "Just so you know, Cynthia... She isn't your~ I dunno, usual student here."

Cynthia: "Uh..."

Royce: "She's a Monster."

Cynthia remained silent as a result. Then both Royce and Cynthia used the large access door used by Giri.

Royce: "Giri, you up?" Royce asks out of curiosity only to met with a hiss from Giri, "Not feeling so well?"

Giri: "Alpha!? Oh, you're up! I'm hungry."

Royce then decides to "mount" the female Great-Girros whom only notices this unprecedented event.

Giri: "Uh... Alpha," Giri stutters, "I didn't know Mating Season was today!"

Royce: "NO!" Royce then begins blushing bright red, "It's not Mating Season, Giri. Do you remember where the food is?"

Giri: "Yes."

Royce: "Now the reason as to why I'm on top of you is cause others would refer to you as a Skin-Stealer's Mount. Something to give a Hunters' legs a rest, and in return the Mount is given food and things in exchange." Royce explained to the Great-Girros, "now come on, let's go."

Giri: "Food, Alpha leads." Royce smiles with Cynthia walking behind Giri and him leading.

Meanwhile, at lunch...

Nova: "Royce, why are you on, uh... that Creature?"

Royce: "You know what she is Nova... and don't think about it," Royce warned Nova whom looks at Giri, "She isn't food."

Nova: "Darn, any-who," Nova says before losing interest in the female Great Girros, "I got an interesting proposition for you and your 'friend' here; how about fresh bones from the Rotten Vale?"

Royce: "Giri..."

Giri stops her eating as she then looks at her "Alpha".

Giri: "Huh?"

Royce: "How would you like to redecorate your den?" Royce questioned the Great-Girros whom only nodded, "OKay Giri, Nova, how much for the Bones?"

Nova: "1,000 Gems. Or how about 250 Zenny?"

Royce: "OKay," Royce replies to his friend while bringing out 250 Zenny before Nova brought out 30 Cursed Dragonbone Artifacts, "Wow! This, this is worth the trade..." Royce said surprised while making the exchange before having Giri follow him, "Giri, time to change your den." As a result, Giri followed her Alpha. After he dismounted her that is...

Once the 3 reached Giri's den (her room), she took (grabbed the Cursed Dragonbone Artifacts with her maw) before decorating her room with the Cursed Dragonbone Artifacts.
