Chapter 42: Royce's FIRST Anniversary!

Just as Royce was informing Cynthia of his marriage; Phoebe came in angry and most likely wanting an explanation.

Phoebe: "Where have you been all day?!?"

Royce: "Looking for the 'most perfect' gift for my wife before me AND visiting old acquaintances of mine." Phoebe then notices several Decorations that Royce had in possession of and questioned her boyfriend (husband).

Phoebe: "What're those in you hands, sweetie?"

Royce: "Eh, they're nothing, just some Decorations for Armour... but I think they'll look LOT better on you than me, here you go," Royce hands his Birth-Day gifts as "Presents" to his wife, "they were originally my Birth-Day presents but love is ALWAYS a better present!"

Phoebe: That's perfect! I can add these~ I mean 'integrate' these Decorations~ I mean, NO, I meant Decoration not Gem. Thank you Royce, for the Anniversary gift even if it WAS your Birth-Day gifts. And I WILL take these HONORABLY and put them into my Researcher Commission Armor."

Royce: "Thank you my Fiery Princess, I will find you a better present for you, my lady."he tells his wife as they held hands into the War-Fang Academy, seeing students waving at both Flame Princess and Human Fire-Guardian as they passed. Before standing before his parents stood there before him. "Mom! Dad! You're here! Why?"

Spyro: "We're here because of... 1. Your Birth-Day..."

Cynder: "... And 2. Your Marriage Anniversary."

Royce: "I'm going to assume it's just as important to you as it is to me?"

Spyro: "YES!!!"

Cynder: "YES!!!"

Royce: "OKay then, thank you mom and dad... thank you for all you've done all the way up to now," Royce goes up to his mom and dad (Cynder and Spyro) and hugs them, letting a few tears fall. "Thank you mom, dad..."

Cynder: "Of course, your father and I will continue loving and supporting you all the way. Won't we Spyro?"

Spyro: "Yes, yes indeed! That's until and IF he goes rogue, and turns out just like Malefor..."

Cynder: "SPYRO!!"

Spyro: "WHAT?! It was just a joke! Our Son might be unpredictable, but he hasn't been 'fully' corrupted with the Convexity Element."

Royce and Phoebe then watched the 2 Legendaries argue before Royce and Phoebe left the 2 without interest as they continued the insolent (indispecable) behavior.

Phoebe: "That was something... What about you, what'd you think?"

Royce: "They're something." Royce stated, making his opinion known and heard. "You know: we're lucky it's NOT (not) snowing inside the Academy, am I right, Phoebe?"

Phoebe: "Yeah, the water and snow burns my flames."

Royce: "I know the feeling of skin burning, sweetie."

Phoebe: "You want to go to bed, honey? I'm tired, and my flames are growing heavy."

Royce: "Yes, indeed," Royce proceeds to grab his wife's fiery hand and takes her back to their room as the two then go to sleep.
