Chapter 41: Royce's 21'st Birth-Day!

As Royce woke up the next morning and left his room, he noticed banners, decorations and sorts hanging from the hall-way, making Royce somewhat excited. But noticed the hall-ways were still pretty desolate, the only other person that was up was Royce's Sylveon, which ended up spooking him.

Cynthia: "Happy Twenty-First Birth-Day, Royce! Just... so, so much bonding!" The Sylveon said wrapping one of her ribbons around his left arm and "escorting" the newly Birth-Day'd 21-year-old.

Royce: "Cynthia, where is everyone?"

Cynthia: "I'd reckon they still be sleeping; it IS still morning time, everyone's got to be asleep, and... that Siamese -Cat Girl is also asleep, too."

Royce: "Ah... you might as well be right! That... and it's just you and I! You know..." Royce then earns Cynthia's attention, "... you and I need to go out and visit some 'friends' of ours out in the field." Royce told the Sylveon as he brought out his iPhone XR and began listening to Powerwolf. Before heading out of the Academy and leaving War-Fang to visit the Eevee's.

As Royce and Cynthia travel through Avalar to the Eevee's Cave, they come across several Monsters, mostly docile, and un-interested in harming, or causing harm to the Human-Dragon Mix and Sylveon. Only then to have Piro fire-ball the nearby Monstrous wild-life, irritated due to the nearby invasion of their home-front.

Royce: "Can anyone join this fight? Or is this fight reserved for you, Piro?" Piro then quit attacking the Monster(s) and jumped and leaped at the now 21-year-old, happy to see her Human friend that didn't judge her or her past... much.

Piro: "ROYCE!!! I never thought that you'd come and visit me on your 21st Birth-Day!" Piro says as she snuggles against the Human-Dragon-Mix with her warmishly- furry mane. "Hey guys! Look whom came; Royce and Cynthia! You know, you two showed up just in time to help us settle a little dispute between our neighbors."

Cynthia: "'Neighbors' as in 'Monsters invading your personal patch of land'? Piro? Or is, err~~ are they a nuisance to you or your family?"

Piro: "All of those Cynthia; all of those." As soon as Piro announced Royce's and Cynthia's presence, Krystal, Vaper, Leafy, Shockey, Psy, Eevee and their Sylveon mother came out of their cave-home.

Eevee: "Hey buddy, long time, no see, huh?"

Royce: "Definitely Eevee!"

Vaper: "Sorry I didn't get you much for your Birth-Day, Royce, I'm terribly sorry."

Krystal: "I found this strange-Ice-thingy; I don't know what it does but it looks like you can put it onto, or into something."

Royce: "Thanks Krystal! Psy, what about you? You get, or find something?"

Psy: "Vaper's freshly caught fish! That, and some more knowledge, oh, and some Decorations for~" Psy tried speaking only for his sister: Piro to interrupt him.

Piro: "... Decorations for that Armour you wear wherever you go!"

Royce: "How many and what types?"

Piro: "2 Thunder Resistance Decorations, and 1 Ice-Resistance Decoration and an Attack Decoration, too; the Attack Decorations are especially hard to find but ARE worth the trouble!"

Royce: "Thank's y'all, Shockey, what about you?"

Shockey: "Uhmm... Decorations?"

Royce: "Eh, thanks guys, even if it is just essentials, I still appreciate you guys!" The 21-year-old tells the Eevee's before leaving. "Oh, and Piro, if you need ANY help," Royce then gives the/ a Red-button to Piro, "this will send me a notice THEN I'll most likely, or probably come over and assist you or your family. Got it?"

Piro: "Got it!"

Royce: "Alright then, see you guys around, bye!" As Royce took the fish, Armour Decorations, knowledge given to him, and headed to the Windy City to meet an old friend; the Princess of the Windy City.

Just as Royce entered the premises of the Windy City, a pair of Draconic Guards appeared before him and knelt before the now 21-year-old.

Dragon Guard 1: "Sir Royce of War-Fang; the Princess request (to have) an audience with you!"

Dragon Guard 2: "Sir Royce, best not to keep the Princess waiting; when the Princess requests an audience with someone, it's usually important, now then; may we escort you to her?"

Royce: "Please do..."

As Royce and Cynthia were being escorted by the Dragon Knights of Windy City, whom then put the duo before the Princess: Flashie.

Royce: "Your Majesty," Royce knelt before the Princess, "have you requested my presence, and to have an audience with me?"

Flashie: "I've requested and wanted an audience with you..."

Royce: "Funny thing too, I was just coming over to see an old friend I haven't seen in a while..."

Flashie: "... And whom is this 'Old Friend' of yours?"

Royce: "You, of course; I have just arrived here; in the Windy City and then Cynthia and I are being escorted by 2 Dragon Knights and are standing before you... old friend," Royce explained before Flashie had something to say to the newly-turned 21-year-old.

Flashie: "What a coincidence... now then, my turn, since news has spread to the Windy City from War-Fang that your 21ST Birth-Day has FINALLY came. Is such news true?"

Royce: "In fact it is, my lady."

Flashie: "Happy 21ST Birth-Day, Royce," Flashie says as she gets off her throne and approaches Royce and Cynthia, "Sir Royce and Mistress Cynthia, will you two be our City's Guest of Honor?"

5 Hours Later...

Royce: "Thanks for the lunch, Flashie, now, I gotta go. Everyone's waiting and all..."

Flashie: "Hold on!" Flashie commanded, "I forgot to give this to you: A special pendant for that Bow of yours! Bye, you are permitted to leave." As Royce and Cynthia leave the Windy City to return back to War-Fang only to notice snow on the ground and falling.

Cynthia: "Snow? Falling here, in War-Fang? That's a first!" Cynthia commented, making Royce smile.

Royce: "Yes. Yes it is Cynthia, yes it is, today is also special for something else!"

Cynthia: "Wait, WHAT?! OH, you didn't mean~"

Royce: "Yep! Celebration of my FIRST Anniversary with Phoebe; my beautiful wife!"
