The Adventures of Royce!

Chapter 52: Song's First Time in the Windy City.

So to catch up to what happened in the last Chapter...: Malefor declared war (once again) and attacked War-Fang with not only his previous loyal soldiers, but Monsters that the Fifth and Third Fleet (from Monster Hunter: World/Iceborne and Tri) have encountered. In the end; War-Fang and their Hunter allies managed to defeat Malefor's forces and Ember saved Royce by killing her father: Malefor and therefor, purify her blood-line, although Royce became handi-capped as a result from his "battle" with Malefor. Both mentally and physically. As a result, Royce (along with his long-lost girl-friend: Song) are taken back to the Windy City for Royce's recovery under Flashie's supervision.

Song: "Wow! This place looks~ Fancy!"

Flashie: "Fancy indeed, you see when I was a young human and my Draconic mother had just adopted me... She had just issued the building of this MAGNIFICENT aerial Palace!"

Song: "So it was your adoptive mother that started the building and now you reside in her creation? Talk about inheritance; I was orphaned when I was young, never really had a 'Love Interest' until I met Royce."

Flashie: "Yes, yes, and I DIDN'T know much about your history involving you and Royce. Say, seeing that one... I can trust you and Two, you care about Royce (as much as I do) do you want to explore MY City, yourself?" As Flashie announced this to Song; Song knelt before Flashie and "thanked her" before leaving the Palace and to begin exploring the Windy City.

As Song begins exploring Windy City...

Song: "This City is huge..." Song said to herself as she noticed a variety of stalls ranging from food to water~ to weapons and armor~ furniture and Decorations~ clothing~ Gems to Jewels~ art to paintings~ pillows to beds and bedsheets and everything else. "All this stuff looks nice and all, but I think Flashie has nicer things," the Ex-Bandit Snow Leopardess thought to herself as she then returned back to the Palace.

Song arrives back at the Windy City Palace...

Flashie: "Yes, yes, put that there, with those over there," Flashie said telling a Poison Dragoness and Fear Dragon pair into repositioning some "newly acquired" furniture and requisitioning of materials for the new "guests". Then Flashie notices the Ex-Bandit Snow Leopardess enter the Palace after exploring the City, "so Song, how did you like exploring the Windy City? Did you like it?"

Song: "It was VERY nice; nice as the, uh... never-mind! Say... whose furniture does that belong to?"

Flashie: "It belongs to you; despite you being an Ex-criminal, thief and whatnot. You've (partially) earned my trust."

Song: "I get my own room, right?"

Flashie: "Yes! But don't ask for anymore favors; if you want things, you have to earn those through jobs~"

Song: "I understand, Your Highness." Song says as she kneels before the Princess.

Flashie: "And, uh, enjoy your new room, and please... despite your past, try NOT TO get yourself into trouble!"

Song: "Thank you," and with Song showing her gratitude; Song goes to her new room and gets settled in, getting comfy as a result.
