As Royce, Phoebe, his kids, and Cynthia wake up at 7:38 A.M., he already notices that Cmdr. May and Marian were not in the house. So Royce and Cynthia spent five hours talking about what they were going to do once they get back to Hopkinsville after they land in Nashville. While his wife and kids were discussing other matters involving spending time with dad, secret powers, and what not. Royce then made sure that he packed everything that he needed to be taken back to his way to Nashville. He then asks for his partner's help.
Royce: "Cynthia! I need your help with packing my stuff! Can you come over here and help, please?"
Cynthia: "WHY?! I ALWAYS HELP YOU WITH EVERYTHING!! Can you have your kids and wife help you?!?"
Royce: "Seriously Cynthia?! Use common sense! They're made of Fire! My clothes aren't fire-resistant, ya know!?"
Cynthia: "Dang it! And I thought~ wait a minute~ I didn't think of that, FINE!! I'll come over and help," Cynthia says as she looks down in defeat, due to lacking common sense. "I thought they were, err~ I thought their fires didn't burn." Cynthia explained to Royce whom was still focusing on packing and not paying attention to his surroundings, only saying "Uh huh, OKay." before re-directing his attention towards his wife and two kids.
Royce: "You 2 think you can fly fast enough to make it to Nashville within less than a few hours?" Royce asked his kids, not his wife, whom only gave a surprised look. "Honey, I already know why you're looking at me like that, and I'm sure you know the answer..."
Meanwhile, at the airport...
As Royce, Cynthia and Marian arrive at the airport, they rush into the airport, grab their passes, go through airport security (TSA), process Royce's luggage and head towards the Terminal.
Once Royce, and Cynthia entered the Terminal, Marian left the Terminal as the duo left and boarded the plane. As the duo boarded the boarded the plane and took a seat in Seat 22C.
There, they met a nice and gracious business man getting himself adjusted in his seat. When time passed by, the duo eventually began to talk. If it wasn't about business, there were "more interesting" conversations to talk about, ranging from different book-genre's, to certain TV shows like: The Office, Family Guy, and Stranger Things while Cynthia only looked at the businessman and Royce in confusion as to "What The Heck Are Talking About?!", only for Cynthia to remain silent as a result. Then the two, including Cynthia, stayed silent for the rest of the flight towards Nashville.
After a while of flying, Cynthia then got curious and hopped up onto a nearby empty seat and watched the clouds and sky from within the seat while still within distance of Royce.
While Cynthia was occupied with watching the clouds from within the plane, Royce wondered what Bertha's reaction would be once he and Cynthia arrived. A few minutes later, Royce got his question answered. As Royce and Cynthia walked out the plane and down the Terminal, Bertha couldn't handle the emotions building up within herself.
Once the two were within arm's reach, she IMMEDIATELY reached out for Royce and hugged him, Cynthia joined the loving, tender moment by jumping into Bertha's arms. This surprised Bertha whom then looked back at the Human-Dragon Mix(ed) child before explaining Cynthia's behavior.
Royce: "She missed you, and is happy to see you too!"
Bertha: "Aww... I... I missed you too, little Cynthia," Bertha said to the Sylveon, causing her to smile, "I hope he wasn't TOO MUCH trouble."
After the three were done "appreciating" each other, Bertha lead Royce and Cynthia to the Baggage Claim area before grabbing their baggage for him/ them. Once their baggage was picked up, Bertha tells them that they need to hurry because every hour meant another $24 spent. When the trio got into the car, they then left the airport and left Nashville and headed all the way to Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Just as Royce got to his house, he began to suffer (from) Jet Lag before falling asleep.
