Chapter 40: Kelly Gets To Meet The Other Humans!

To pick up from where we last were: An assassination attempt is plotted against Royce as soon as he is finally able to change Forms once more. As he is able to change Forms, Tiffany, Cynthia, and Royce spot 4 Siamese Cat Mercenaries handing out "Wanted" posters, one of them approached the trio and claimed to be "friendly", only to result in Cynthia nearly strangling this friendly mercenary, gaining the other Siamese Cat Mercenaries' attention. <---- Omit.

Royce gives Kelly (a now reformed, err~ retired Mercenary) official and legal permission to begin training as a(n) (efficient) bodyguard, after nearly besting and standing up to Royce in Combat Training, Kelly, Royce, and Cynthia head out to lunch and begin eating, once the trio was done eating; Royce began explaining that not all humans were the same

Kelly: "Sooo... you're telling me there're 'other' Humans that live here besides you?" Kelly asked, dumbfounded by Royce's news that he wasn't the only Human in War-Fang and or the Academy. Royce then proceeded to grab his iPhone XR from his pocket and contacted the Captain of War-Fang; Captain Carmelita.

Royce: *Royce talks to the Captain via cell-phone* "Captain..."

Carmelita: "Hello... who is this?" Carmelita asked, not familiar with the number before recognizing the voice, "err~ sorry Royce, what seems to be the problem?"

Royce: "Well Captain, I'd like to know where the other Humans are; have any idea where they are?"

Carmelita: "Cpl. William is with another student named... Aurora, said to be his new girlfriend. The two claimed it, or rather they were going to spend time together on a special assignment. The other Airmen are in their rooms.

Royce: "I will need those room numbers and their occupants, please." Royce wanted from the War-Fang Captain; Carmelita then phones the room numbers and occupants, "Thank you Captain, you've been helpful today!" Royce said thanking the Inspector before hanging up on Carmelita.

Carmelita: "I hate it when he does that..." The Captain said to herself before noticing Felix at another post before redirecting him to one of the City Guards' new(est) 20mm AA-DP and AT-DP pieces of armament. "Felix!, Get off that M2-HB Machine Gun and practice using the 20 milli-meter." Capt. Carmelita ordered Felix as he then manned the 20 millimeter.

Meanwhile, with Royce and Kelly...

Royce: "Alright Kelly, I just got done talking with the Captain, and I got those numbers. Look, follow me..." Royce informs the Siamese Cat as she begins to follow the Human Fire Guardian.

Kelly: "So whom're we gonna see first?"

Royce: "A Human I saved from bleeding to death, along with the other Humans whom were trapped in the same metal container." Royce informed the Siamese Cat as to not make her too confused by saying "metal container," instead of "plane".

As Kelly and Royce arrived at gunner 1's room, Royce knocked on Gunner 1's door before he opened the door for the two.

Gunner 1: "Rooooyce! What's up buddy/1 long time, no see, huh," Gunner 1 said, happy to see his Human-Dragon Mix-buddy before noticing his new female body-guard, "Who's the pretty lady? Your chaperon?"

Royce: "Haven't you gotten news of a recent assassination attempt on my life, Charles?" Royce asked the B-17 Ball Turret Gunner with concern before revealing Gunner 1's actual name, hearing this made Charles' mind snap back to reality; Resulting in Charles bringing out his Colt 1911 and placed the gun up against Kelly's head.

Charles: "What're you thinking, bringing an assassin into this place?! You're crazy! Now, explain why before I put a bullet through her head!" Charles demanded.
