To catch up on what happened in the previous Chapter: Royce is able to convince the Siamese Cat Mercenaries that are now working in the City of War-Fang to help him in taking down his once trusted friend and Guardian cohort and with Capt. Carmelita making the official arrest due to the harm (made) against Royce.
Terrador: "Royce, explain the meaning of this," Terrador demanded from the Human Fire-Guardian, "and why is this happening?"
Royce: "You really wanna know?"
Terrador: "Yes."
Royce: "Well Terrador, your 'friend' poisoned me."
Then both Guardian's went silent as a result. Suddenly, it all made sense to both Earth and Ice Guardian's seeing that the strange (allergic) reactions Royce was experiencing, so they decided not to push the subject any further.
Royce: "Now if you guys are done questioning me about a crime that a fellow friend of yours committed, I need to keep a promise I made to a friend."
With this in mind, Royce changed into his Dragon-Form where he flew his way to Astra and pick up Giri and take her back to War-Fang.
Meanwhile, at War-Fang
Royce: "Alright Giri, I'm back! Giri? Where are you?" Royce said looking for his new Great Girros friend before the Commander approached him from behind.
Commander: "We had to sedate her after she got a little too aggressive with one of our Researchers."
Royce: "Of course she'd get aggressive with one of your Researchers! She doesn't trust them, not to mention the mentality of a wild animal. She goes by a social hierarchy, and to her, I'm the dominant Alpha. Show me where she is."
Commander: "Yes, of course, but may I ask as to why?"
Royce: "Like you said it yourself: She'll attack your Researchers. But if I take her to War-Fang, she won't pose a threat to anyone. Show me where you have imprisoned her and I'll take her (right) off your hands."
Commander: "Thank you, you'll save us a lot of trouble. Even though she'll make a GREAT research subject."
After the Commander was done making conversation with Royce, he brought the 21-year-old to Giri's holding quarters. To which Giri was happy to see Royce.
Giri: "Royce! You're back! These things are mean!"
Royce: "I know," Royce said trying to be sympathetic to the Great Girros hybrid, as he changes into his Dragon Form and uses his Poison Breath on the chains that are restraining her, "come on, it's time to leave," he tells the Great Girros as he switches into his Dragon Form, grabs her and takes her to War-Fang.
After arriving at War-Fang...
Royce: "Here we are: My home: It's War-Fang."
Giri: "This is your home? It's big! And you share it with all these other creatures?!"
Royce: "Just follow," Royce directed the female Great-Girros as she began to follow him into the War-Fang Academy, now everyone that I bring here will be respected, well..."
Giri: "..."
Royce: "A friend of mine has a taste for Girros meat." Royce tells his female Great Girros friend as she becomes nervous with anxiety. "Don't worry, I'll tell him not to try and eat you and if he does... You have the right to defend yourself. Just bite him and he'll back off... probably."
Royce: "Anywho...," Royce grabs Giri's scaly hand and directs her towards the Cafeteria, "this is where everyone eats," he claims as they walk through the Academy. Then Royce proceeds to go to his room with Giri attempting to follow. "Uh, Giri, what do you think you are doing?"
Giri: "Following the Alpha Male."
Royce: "Giri, I'm sleepy."
Giri: "I can sense that you're sleepy, you're giving off a smell that tells me that you are sleepy."
Royce: "Giri, go to bed."
Giri: "I sleep with the Alpha."
Royce: "No Giri," Royce then went looking for a room for Giri, which he found. "now just go in and go to sleep. I tried to have some others make it as 'homey' as possible." Royce says to the Great-Girros as she left without saying anything. "She gone without saying anything?! Wow!, Well, now I can go get some sleep now." Royce says to himself as he heads to his room and ready's himself for the next day.
