To catch up on what happened last Chapter: the Commander of Astra requested Royce and his Team (Carmelita and Kelly) to investigate mysterious sightings in the Rotten Vale. What they found was surprising: A Female Great Girros in the form of a Human. Accusing them of stealing their "Skins".
Royce: "Carmelita, you got a clue?" The Human-turned Dragon asked his Vixen Captain.
Carmelita: "Nope."
The Female-Humanoid Great-Girros then looks at Royce.
Royce: "What?"
Great Girros: "These are your pack members? They're Skin-Stealers!"
Royce: "They're MY pack members," Royce said talking to the Female Great Girros, "they're not Skin-Stealers... what's a Skin-Stealer?"
Great Girros: "You kill us for our parts then wear us like trophies for your own use! That's what a Skin Stealer is!!"
Royce: "But none of us ever hunted anyone..." Royce explained to the Female whom proceeded to sniff the trio.
Great Girros: "Hmmm... you 3 don't smell like Skin-Stealers, so what are you 3 doing here?"
Royce: "We were sent here to look into something..."
Great Girros: "What kind of something?"
Royce: "Well... you to be exact. Seeing that that giant rotting carcass isn't around."
The Female Great Girros then began to tear up due to the loss of her pack and its members.
Great Girros: "May I~ may I join your pack?" The Female Great Girros pleaded in dispair, "please, I lost my pack." Royce then begins looking at Carmelita and Kelly. They didn't say a thing.
Royce: "Sure... why not? I don't see a problem with that!"
Later at Astra, talking to the Commander...
Commander: "So this is the Mysterious Being that's been eluding my Researchers? Hmm... a good specimen she is, I must say! How'd you do it? I mean how did you bring her here, and unharmed?!"
Royce: "That's a secret, a good Hunter never reveals his secrets! Also, promise me that she will be returned to me, please?"
Commander: "Yes, indeed. It'll be a promise!"
Great Girros: "Why you leaving me? My pack didn't ever leave me."
Royce: "I have a Rival Pack to deal with but I will promise to come back and pick you up," Royce said to the Female Great Girros, "here, this will be your reminder of your Alpha, Giri..."
Great Girros: "What's a Giri?"
Royce: "You, your name from on is Giri. my (Female) Great Girros pack member. And family."
Giri: "Family..."
And like that, Royce, Kelly and Carmelita left Astra and returned back to War-Fang
