Chapter 33: Back To Astra?

9.5.2019

As Cynthia and Royce were sleeping comfortably in the same bed, they weren't aware that they were taken back to the Dragon Realms, more specifically; Astra. Once they woke up (2 Days Later), Royce begins to immediately notice that he and Cynthia were not in Bertha's house, but they were in Astra. Just as Royce and Cynthia were beginning to wake up from their slumber, the Commander from Astra visited his room.

Commander: "Well... if it isn't Royce DeBarry; current Fire Guardian of War-Fang; Elite Hunter of Astra, and friend among Hunters, so on and so fourth... sorry for the confusion as to why you you're here. But you were called to here for a specific reason; you and your kids will be the first to explore a new, unexplored and uncharted continent.

9.9.2019

Royce: "Sooo... why am I here? Back in Astra? And what do my children have to do with my involvement?" Royce asked the Commander of Astra.

Commander: "The Windy Citys' princess's scouts have recently 'discovered' a new and foreign land, the catch is... WE, as in your Field Team Leader and you and your kids are to explore this new land mass and document the wildlife, plants, terrain, a suitable place to build a base and the Endemic Species that live there! Now Hunters, get to it!" the Commander ordered as then Tiffany: The Field Team Leader showed up, surprising the father and her step-siblings.

Tiffany: "Now... as this may or may not be a surprise to you, I am your Field Team Leader. You operate under my command once we reach this new land mass. After we reach it, we IMMEDIATELY assess the area, secure it, and establish a base there. Do I make myself clear, team...?" Tiffany demanded, resulting in everyone saying "Yes Ma'am!" before Royce looked at his adopted daughter in surprise as she was the leader of this mission.

Royce: "Tiffany, you're the leader of this mission?"

Tiffany: "Dad, you're here? On this Expeditionary mission, too? When did they Commission you back into service? Never mind that, I guess this mission MUST be more important than I realized. Anyway, get something VERY WARM, Commander says there'll be a very high chance that it'll be absolutely cold. By the way, everyone..." Tiffany paused, grabbing everyone's attention, "expect the unexpected!"

9.11.2019

Royce: "Yes sir, err~ ~ ma'am! Will do! Anything specific that I'll need in general, Field Team Leader, Tiffany?" Royce asked his adopted daughter.

Tiffany: "Get some cold-resistant armor, some Hot Drinks, your old armor and weapon set, your Palico: Kim, and Sylveon and anything and anything else you have in mind." As Tiffany mentioned Cynthia, he looked around for his best friend- and pal- and family member, only to find out that she wasn't awake like he was, and went back towards his room in Astra as to find her sleeping in the neatly prepared "pet" bed the people (Hunters) of Astra had made as a token of gratitude for defeating the Nergigante, even though Royce knew this WAS a small "Reward", he still appreciated "helping" out his kids.

9.13.2019

Royce: "Man, she must really LOVE that pet bed. Gheeze, those Hunters of Astra know their crafts!" then Royce noticed some (other) Decorations, including: a detailed picture of him, his wife, and kids and his heavily and highly reliable Sylveon: Cynthia in the bottom right corner holding his right hand with one of her four ribbons, a new handbook for his own personal Handler, a dresser for any new clothes, and armor he might've bought, paintings, an armor rack, a chest, and special outfits for him. Before Tiffany came to his room and then (re-)informed him that she thinks it's a (it would) be a better idea if he left Cynthia in Astra due to the extreme cold and unpredictability of the new land mass.
