Chapter 42

Tinsley and Abel were in the apartment at the club house for the night. She got borrowed Gemma's laptop to check the realtor sites for new listings. She didn't know what Jax's budget was so she was just scanning all the listing that were in Charming. She found a 5 bedroom 4.5 bath on the same street as Gemma. It was listed for around $900,000. Tinsley was still having sticker shock with the prices of things in California versus what they were in North Carolina. Where she grew up, the same size house was no more than $300,000.

After she had looked at all the listings, she showered and got ready for bed. Jax still wasn't back yet. After he had told the guys about what happened at his house, they all left in search of Zobelle. Jax didn't tell her too much but promised to tell her everything when he got back. It was nearly midnight and she was bored out of her mind. She wanted something to occupy her time. She walked over to the bookshelf in the room and scanned the titles. She found a few that peaked her interest but decided on an old photo album she found. She carried it back to the bed and started to flip though the pages. There were pictures of Jax when he was a kid. There were some of him and him brother that he had said does a while ago from the heart condition. She found some pictures of a Gemma and of JT. But that shocked her the most was the pictures of Jax and his ex Tara. He looked so in love with her that it made her jealous even though she knew Tara wasn't a threat. She was lost in the album when the door to the apartment opened. She looked up and saw Jax.

He looked beat. He walked over to her and kissed her.

"Whatcha got?" Asked Jax.

"An old photo album" said Tinsley.

"Ohh" said Jax.

"What?" Asked Tinsley.

"I forgot that thing was even here. I'm sure you seen most of the pictures in there" said Jax.

"Yea, I seen the pics of you and Tara. You really did love here didn't you?" Asked Tinsley.

"I thought I did" Jax said.

"Ohhh, Good answer Teller" said Tinsley.

"At the time, she was the love of my life. She was my first love. My first everything if I'm being honest." Said Jax.

"We don't have to talk about this" said Tinsley.

"I want to explain her to you." Said Jax.

"Jax, she broke your heart and for that I want to break her face. But at the same time. If she hadn't have broken your heart, we pro wouldn't be together right now" said Tinsley.

"Baby, even if we had been together, the moment I met you, I would have left her" said Jax.

"You talk a good game" said Tinsley.

"It's not talk. I mean it. You are the love of my life. You mean the world to me. These past few days have been hard on both of us but look at us. We're just as strong as we were in the beginning." Said Jax.

"That's cause you couldn't make me leave if you wanted to. I'm here for the long haul" said Tinsley.

"And because of that, I want to give you this" said Jax as he dug in his pocket for the ring box. He had been carrying it around all day trying to figure out when to give it to her. After the fire at the house, he knew he couldn't wait any longer.

"Jax" said Tinsley when she saw the ring in the box.

"You like it?" Asked Jax

"I freaking love it! Baby, it's beautiful! I couldn't think of a more beautiful item if I had to" said Tinsley.

"You mean it?" Asked Jax. Tinsley thought this insecure Jax was too precious.

"I mean every single word of it!" Said Tinsley.

Jax took her hand and placed the ring on her finger. He kissed it when he had it in place.

"Tinsley Marie Andrews, I love you with every ounce of my being. I want to spend the rest of this crazy life with you. I want to raise our kids in a house full of love. I want you to be the first thing I see every morning and I want you to be the last thing I see every night when I close my eyes. Make me the happiest man on the face of this world and make me your husband. Marry me?" Said Jax.

"Jax, you didn't have to do all that. I've already said yes" said Tinsley.

"Baby, you deserve a proper proposal. I'll do it every single day of my life if I have to" said Jax.

"No need. Yes, I will marry you" said Tinsley.

Jax kissed her on the lips. One tinder kiss turned in to hot passionate love making. Jax undresses her with such care that her heart grew to almost exploding with love for him. Once he had her undressed, he laid her back on the bed and made sweet, passionate love to her. There was no sound son the room but the the two of them. Nothing but their moans. Nothing but their "I love you's". There was nothing the love.. so much love. When they were done feasting on each other, there wasn't an inch of each other that the other hadn't explored. 

Lying in bed snuggled into each other, Tinsley asked about the day.

"Did you guys find Zobelle?" She asked.

"No. His ass hasn't been near Charming since we have been looking for him. We visited his cigar shop and Juice found his laptop. He's working on cracking the password to see if there is anything in his calendar about where he might be." Said Jax.

"And what happens when you find him? You know he will deny any involvement in the fire" said Tinsley.

"Then we find who he's working with and see if we can get someone to roll over. He's not getting off on this one. I can't let him" said Jax.

"I know. I want him dead myself." Said Tinsley.

"If I have my way, he will be dead. And it will be a slow and painful death for what he did" said Jax.

"Is it bad that doesn't scare me? Should make me scared of you?" Asked Tinsley.

"Tins, I never want you to be scared of me. I do thr things I do to protect the ones I love. He tried to harm you and for that, he will pay. And anyone else who tries to hurt anyone I love will see the same fate" said Jax.

"Just please be careful. I couldn't survive losing you" said Tinsley.

"I will never leave you" said Jax.

Tinsley snuggled into his side, he head rested on his chest. They both fell asleep
