Shit!

She had been right. Gemma had pretty much seen what was running through her mind. Dammit! Tinsley knew right then and there that she needed to get a better poker face if she was ever going to be able to hide anything from Gemma.

"What?" Asked Tinsley deciding to deny, deny, deny.

"How far along do you think you are? You think we didn't hear you puking your guts out? You think I haven't noticed you have been a little more bitchy here lately?" Said Gemma .

"I've been bitchy because my husband was almost killed. I'm sure my nerves are still fried which brought on the nausea." Said Tinsley.

"Or you could be pregnant. And let's face it sweetheart, you were bitchy before the bombing" said Gemma.

"I have the implant in my arm. It's pretty much impossible to get pregnant with it" said Tinsley.

"But it's not 100%" said Gemma.

Tinsley fell silent thinking about what Gemma was saying. Had she been extra bitchy? Her breasts sure ached a while lot more than normal.

"Truth is Gem, I have no clue. I know the only way to make certain you don't get pregnant is to not have sex regardless of the contraceptive you choose. And let's face it, Jax and I aren't going become abstinent so I guess there is a chance I could be pregnant" said Tinsley.

"No, you two sure aren't gonna become abstinent. You two go at each other like jack rabbits." Said Gemma.

"Do you think Jax will be excited if I am?" Asked Tinsley almost afraid to know Gemma's answer.

"Jax will be trilled. No, the timing is not ideal but then again, when is it ever?" Said Gemma.

"That's true I guess" said Tinsley.

"Question is, do you want to be pregnant?" Said Gemma.

"I love kids and I love being a mom even more. If I am pregnant, I will be ecstatic. I told Jax when we got together that I wanted a big family. I wanted atleast 4 or 5 kids. Well, having the triplets have us four including Abel. If it turns out I am, this will be the five I wanted." Said Tinsley.

"Then there you go. As long as you want this, that's all the matters." Said Tinsley.

"You don't think it's too soon?" Asked Tinsley.

"Honestly, yes. You guys have your plates full right now. What? With the kids and now Jax's accident, you guys are already stretched to the max. This isn't gonna be easy but nothing every worth having in life ever is. That being said, it's not my decision either way." said Gemma.

"Well I guess there's only one way to know for certain then ain't it?" said Tinsley.

"Yep." Said Gemma.

The two of them rode in silence the rest of the way to the grocery store both lost in their thought. Tinsley knew what she was thinking about but she wondered just what was going on in Gemma's head. Was she truly excited or was she just saying she was?

▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️

Holy shit... holy fucking shit... IM PREGNANT!

That was the only thought that ran through Tinsley's mind as she sat on the toilet of the grocery store bathroom. Tears of joy mixed with tears of uncertainty filled her eyes. As much as she tried to hold them back, they just fell and kept falling.

How will Jax react?
Am I really ready for kid number five?
How will Gemma, Clay, and the rest of the club react?
How will my brother react?
How will we afford this?
Can we do this?
What if it's a false positive

All thoughts were a moot point because regardless if Jax was ready or if she was ready, this baby was here and there wasn't anything that was going to change that. All but the last, thr last had the tears falling even harder. Even though she wasn't sure she was ready for this, she knew it would completely break her heart if it turned out to be a false positive. She wasn't ready for the heartbreak that would be sure to follow in if fact it turned out to be a bad result. A to-do list started forming in her brain:

•Call Dr. Greene to get a test done by him to prove pregnancy
•Get birth control removed if his test shows positive.
•TELL JAX

But first of all, she needed to tell Gemma because she was currently waiting outside of the restroom waiting for the results. Pulling herself together, she flushed and washed her hands and made her way to the door. Taking a deep breath in an attempt to calm her nerves, she opened the door. The look on Gemma's face had the tears rolling once more.

"Your not pregnant?" Asked Gemma.

"According to the test I am" said Tinsley.

"So why thr tears?" Asked Gemma.

"Because it could be a false positive" said Tinsley.

"No, I won't believe it." Said Gemma.

"I'm going to call Dr. Green in the morning. Do you have plans? I may need you to sit with Jax." Said Tinsley.

"Nope, I'll get Piney it Tig or somebody to man the office while you go to the doctor" said Gemma.

"Thanks Gem" said Tinsley.

"You're welcome sweetheart. And just so we're clear, I'm excited for both of you. You are a wonderful mother and a wonderful wife to Jax. It warms my heart to know that Jax has found someone who completes him in every way" said Gemma.

"Don't go getting all mushy Gem. I'll start crying again. As it is, Jax will how when I get home that I've been crying" said Tinsley.

"Not being mushy. I'm telling you the truth. That day I went into the recovery unit to see Jax, the first name that came from his lips was yours. He wanted you there. Now, as much as it hurt me to know my baby boy didn't need me anymore, it warmed me up to know that he had someone who he loved 110% and gave him the same love in return. Tinsley, you have been a god send to all of us." Said Gemma and tears began to well up in her eyes.

"Oh lord. Gemma, that means so much to me. I-I love Ja-Jax with my whole entire h-heart." Stuttered Tinsley though the tears as they fell full force once again.

"Dry those tears sweetheart. I'm not telling you all of this just because I want to make you feel better. This has been a long time coming. I should have told you just how much you mean to all of us when I seen how you treated Abel from the beginning. Had it not been for you, I don't know how Jax would have handled being a father. Tinsley, you have made Jax into a better man. One that loves life, his wife, and most of all his kids. For a long time, Jax did things that should have gotten him killed all because he was looking for some kind of connection with someone. He finally found that in you. I don't have to worry about him like I used to. I know he had finally seen what the true meanings of life and love are and I have no one but you to thank for that. Thank you for loving my baby boy" said Gemma.

"Oh gemma" said Tinsley as she cried even harder.

Gemma pulled Tinsley to her and wrapped her arms around her. She hugged her tight and patted her back staring right there outside the bathroom of Charming Grocery until Tinsley tears finally stopped and she could breathe like normal again.

"Thanks Gemma" said Tinsley, wiping her nose with the back of her hand.

"No thank you needed sweetheart. Now let's get that ice cream and head home before Jax or Clay starts calling wanting to know where we are." Said Gemma.
