Chapter 81

After breakfast, Tinsley helped Gemma place all the left overs in the refrigerator and helped her clean up the dishes. When everything was done, she, Jax, and the kids went home. The babies woke up as they were walking in the door so they made quick work of feeding them and laying them back down. It was also time for Abel's nap so they laid him in his crib and went back to the living room, 4 baby monitors in hand. The two of them sat down on the couch. Tinsley laid her head in Jax's lap and looked up at him. His fingers played with her hair.

"Why don't we call Rachel and Sarah and see if they will watch the kids today? I want you all to myself." Said Jax.

"Are you sure? You don't want to spend the day with the kids" asked Tinsley.

"Tinsley, as much as I missed the kids and wants to spend the day with them, it's warm out today and I need you on the back of my bike. I need to tell you about everything that happened in Belfast and I don't want to do that with the distraction of the kids. We won't be gone all day. Just a few hours. Plus, I'm sure you could use a break" said Jax.

"I could" said Tinsley.

"Ok, so call them and see if they will keep them for a few hours" said Jax.

"Ok, but I'm going to need to shower and all before we go if they can keep them" said Tinsley.

"No worries. I need to shower too" said Jax.

Tinsley took her phone off the coffee table and dialed up Rachel and Sarah. Of course they said they would watch the kids. Tinsley would be lying if she said that she didn't feel a little bad about leaving the kids and spending the day with Jax but she understood that he needed to get something off his chest. As much as she loved her kids, she knew that right now, Jax needed her just as much.

After hanging up the phone, the two of them went upstairs to their bathroom and showered together. After a quick romp in the shower, the two of them got dressed and headed back downstairs to wait for Rachel and Sarah.

"Oh shit, I forgot to tell you that Kevin came looking for you." Said Tinsley.

"Yea you told me. Remember?" Asked Jax.

"No, I don't remember. Anyways, I'm gonna tell you again just in case I forgot something" said Tinsley.

"Ok" said Jax laughing.

"Well, let me start from the beginning. It will be much easier. So the night you and I had our fight, Willow came over and we watched crap TV. That's also the night that she went into labor. We decided to bring the kids down stairs since it was just us. As we made it back down, there was a knock at the door. I didn't recognize him so I was iffy about opening the door. Anyway, it was Kevin. He didn't go into any details and he was really kinda rude about the whole thing, but he just said that he needed to talk to you about Ava and that it was important. I didn't say anything to you well because you didn't have a phone for one and two because I knew you had a shit ton to worry about already. Well, fast forward to after Willow had the baby. I was in the area of the waiting room that has the vending machines. As I was deciding what I wanted, Tara cornered me wanting to know why you haven't called them yet. I told her that it wasn't any of her fucking business but that you were out of town. Anyway, in true Tara form, she again told me that she was going to do everything possible to split us up. She told me that Ava wants to meet Kenny and Ellie and wants you to set it up. Something about Donna not wanting to talk to her. When I told her that it wasn't your place TJ set that up, she told me that you were probably screwing 3 other girls at that moment and told me that you would cheat on my -and I quote- 'fat fucking ass' because I was no different than anyone else. She even told me that once the weather warmed up and you saw me in a bikini, you would come crawling back to her. It was so soon after our fight that after she said all that, I kind of lost my shit. I beat the shit out of her. It took 3 security guards to pull me off of her. When they finally got me off of her, she was unconscious. Last I heard, she's in the hospital for observation because of a concussion." Said Tinsley.

"I can picture you beating her ass. It's kinda hot" said Jax.

"Is that all you think about?" Said Tinsley.

"When it comes to you, yes." Said Jax.

"Good answer" said Tinsley winking.

"Go on..." said Jax.

"Anyway, yesterday when your mom and I went to see Willow and the baby, I got a phone call -that I'll tell you about later- that caused me to be alone for a few minutes. After the call was over, I walked over to the elevator. Just before the doors closed. I caught sight of Kevin. Not wanting to fight with him too, I tried to get the elevator to hurry up and close but he caught it just before the door shut. I thought about getting out but decided just to get it over with. He acted kind of "off". I don't really know how to explain it. He actually congratulated me on beating Tara's ass because apparently he's wanted to do it for quite some time but did want to lose his job or whatever. We talked until I got off the elevator and he told me how much you deserved someone who loved you and that he was glad you found me. Then he left." Said Tinsley.

"Wow. Why would she even think I would want to have any part of that meeting?" Asked Jax.

"I guess Kevin wanted you to try and talk some since into her. He loves that child and somehow he loves Tara. I can only assume that he wanted your advise on it. As far as Tara, I bet she just wanted you to be involved just to piss me off" said Tinsley.

"That works out well for her didnt it?" Said Jax smiling.

"I just hope she was conscious long enough to remember the ass beating" said Tinsley.

"I'm sure she will think twice before acting like that towards you again" said Jax.

"She better" said Tinsley.

Just then, there was a knock at the door. Tinsley went to answer it and found that it was Rachel and Sarah. She invited them inside and left them sitting in the living room with Jax while she went upstairs and grabbed her leather jacket and boots.

When she cane back down, Jax was giving them the babies feeding schedule and telling them they wouldn't be gone long.

After everything was settled, the two of them slid into heir coats and walked out to the garage and over to Jax's bike. He must have had someone bring it over because he had rode it to the club house before they left for Belfast and she knew that Piney had brought them home last night according to Clay earlier.

Jax climbed into his bike and Tinsley climbed onto the back. She kissed him between the shoulder blades as she always did.

"I love when you do that" said Jax.

"You love everything I do Teller." Said Tinsley.

"You're damn right I do" said Jax.

He cranked the bike and and hit the button to open the garage door. The two of them took off, unsure of where they were going but just enjoying the alone time.
