Chapter 85

Jax needed to help Tinsley prove her innocence. He knew that Unser had said that they were already pulling security footage of the hospital but he wanted to see them for himself. He wanted to get this over and done as soon as possible. He knew the stress of all this was going to takes it toll on Tinsley regardless but he wanted to make sure  that it was settled as quickly as possible to lessen the amount if stress.

Deciding who he needed in order to get the information he needed, he grabbed Tinsley's phone off the coffee table, he dialed Juice. Justice answered on the second ring.

"Hey Tins" said juice.

"It's not Tinsley. It's me. I need you do you some digging or me" said Jax.

"Sure. What's up? Who we digging into?" Asked Juice.

"How hard would it be to hack into the security camera for the hospital?" Asked Jax.

"I'm not sure. I don't know what kind of firewalls they have. I'm sure I can do it, but I don't know how long it will take me" said Juice.

"We need to make it quick as possible. Unser was just here questioning her about Tara's death. She's pretty shaken up about it all.." Said Jax.

"I get that, but I thought Tara's husband was admitting blame" said Juice.

"He is. I guess they are just covering their bases but  like I said, Tinsley is pretty damn shaken up about it. She's scared that she will go to prison for this and that she won't be here for the babies." Said Jax.

"But she didn't do it. Why would she think that would happen" said Juice.

"Because she's a mom" said Jax.

"Alright, I'll see what I can do" said Juice.

"Thanks bro" that's Jax.

Jax ended the call and walked over to Abel and placed him in one of the pack and plays that were set up in the living room. He then walked out onto the back patio making sure to leave the door cracked so he could hear the kids. He found Tinsley sitting on the bench, her head in her hands and am he could hear her sniffling.

"Don't cry baby. You know that it guts me to see you cry" said Jax.

"If I go to prison for them Jax, what will happen to you and the kids? Who will raise them? Will you find a new woman to be their mom?" Said Tinsley.

"Baby, there is no way your going to prison for this. They can check the cameras and they will see that you didn't go in her room. They will see that you were not even anywhere near her room." Said Jax.

"How can you be so sure?" Asked Tinsley.

"Because I love you and I believe in you. Plus, I have Juice hacking the computers right now to see the footage. Baby, I know that even if Tara pissed you off to the point you were tempted to commit murder, you wouldn't do it. Tins, you couldn't kill a damn house fly a couple of weeks ago. Why would you kill a human?" Said Jax.

"In my defense, that fly was huge and he had kept looking at me. Every time I picked up the damn fly swatter, it was almost as if her was giving me a guilt trip" said Tinsley

"See? You couldn't kill a fly so I know you couldn't have killed a human being" said Jax.

"I know that. But it doesn't matter what I know. If for god awful reason the law find any evidence that's points towards me, they will make and example out of me. Especially since that detective from North Carolina is snooping around." Said Tinsley.

"Baby, you have nothing to worry about. I promise. Now, let's go back inside, figure out something for dinner, and just hand out. You, me, and the kids. Let's worry about all this bullshit tomorrow." Said Jax.

"I'll try to take my mind off of it" said Tinsley.

"I can think of something thag will occupy your mind" said Jax.

"Perve" said Tinsley.

"I was talking about baking. What we're you thinking about?" Asked Jax.

Tinsley got up from her seat on the bench and walked towards the house. Once inside, she went to the kitchen and began rummaging around in the friend trying to figure out what to cook for dinner. She found all the ingredients for shrimp and grits.

"Hey babe, do you like grits?" Asked Tinsley.

"What the hell is a grit" asked Jax.

"It's ground up corn" said Jax.

"Never has it. Why?" asked Jax.

"Because I was going to make shrimp and grits for dinner" said Tinsley.

"I'll eat whatever you fix. You know that." Said Jax.

Satisfied with Jax's answer, she stated to boil water for the yellow grits. She stated to brown some bacon in a pan. After the bacon was done, she put some of the bacon drippings in a sauce pan. She then placed some corn, peppers, and onions inside the pot and allowed them all to cook down. Once she was satisfied with that, she made a garlic and Parmesan cream sauce with the remainder of the bacon drippings and cooked it over low heat until smooth and creamy. Lastly, she sautéed her shrimp in butter and old bay just until they were pink.

Once everything was ready, she mixed the vegtable mix, some of the bacon, and some of the cream sauce into the grits. She then scooped enough out for the two of them in to bowls.

"It's smells amazing in here" said Jax.

"You're about time be amazed. Hi agreed a grab Abel and put him in his seat. I have some baby food for him since he can't have seafood just yet." said Tinsley.

Jax walked into the living room and grabbed Abel from his pack and play and took him into the dining room where his high chair was.

Tinsley came into the dining room carrying two big bowls of the Shrimp and grits.

"I'll be right back. I need to get our drinks" said Tinsley.

"I got it. Sit down before your food gets cold" said Jax.

"Ok" said Tinsley.

Jax returned a couple of seconds later with their drinks. Sitting down in his hair, she looked at the food.

"So this is shrimp and Grits?" He asked.

"Yeo. My nana used to make it all that time. Go on and get a bite." Said Tinsley.

Jax tasted the concoction and was pleasantly surprised at the taste. He didn't know what he imagined grits would taste like but this was pretty good.

"You like it?" Asked Tinsley.

"I do. But then again anything you cook is amazing" said Jax.

"It's nothing that special" said Tinsley.

"Yes it is. It's special because you cooked it. You put some of your love into this food and it shows" said Jax.

"Flattery will get you everywhere" said Tinsley.

"That's what I'm hoping baby." Said Jax.
