Chapter 103

Tinsley was a nervous wreck by the time Dr. Greene made it into her room accompanied by the nurse who had shown her in.

"Hello Mrs. Teller" said Dr. Greene.

"Hey doc" said Tinsley.

"I'm assuming you would like to know the result of your urinalysis" said Dr. Greene.

"More than I want my next breath doc" said Tinsley.

"Well, you already know the results. You are indeed pregnant. I'm going to do a vaginal ultrasound to see just how far along you are. How does that sound?" Asked Dr. Greene.

"Sounds good." Said Tinsley.

"Ok, well let's go across the hall to the ultrasound room and take a peek" said Dr. Greene.

Tinsley could hardly believe it. She was pregnant. She and Jax would now have 5 children. The fact scared the living shit out of her and excited her to no end all at once.

"I'm going to step out while you undress. You just need to remove your pants and undergarments. There are blankets on the exam table for to to drape over yourself when you're done. I'll be back in about five minutes" said Dr Greene.

"Ok" said Tinsley.

After the doctor walked out, Tinsley quickly undressed, neatly folding her clothes and making sure to hide her lacy black thong. She knew it was ridiculous to hide her underwear when thr doctor had already seen everything the good lord had given her but it just felt weird to leave them lying out in the open.

True to his word, Dr. Greene was back within five minutes, his nurse in toe. Tinsley needed to try and see what her name was. She hated referring to her as "nurse" all the time. Sneaking a quick peek at her badge, Tinsley saw the nurses name was Abby Brinkley. Tinsley couldn't help but think how much the name fit the preppy little nurse. She had the typical blonde hair and blue eyes that men seemed to love. She wasn't y'all but she want a dwarf either. Tinsley guessed she was somewhere around 5'4". Tinsley couldn't help but wonder what the nurse would be like to hang out with outside of the office. She made a mental note to invite Nurse Abby our. The worst she could do is refuse.

"Ok, let's see just how far along you are" said Dr. Greene.

He moved the wand around and around trying to get a good angle of the baby.

"There we go" he said as he clicked a button on the machine that would print out a photo.

Tinsley watched the machine in wonder. Even though she had already did this, it still amazed her that she was capable of producing life... with the help of Jax of course.

"You look to be about 7 weeks" said Dr. Greene.

"Well. That's a shocker" said Tinsley.

"I'd say. You've had the implant for how how long now?" Asked Dr. Greene.

"Eight or nine weeks" said Tinsley

"The good lord must have really wanted you to have this baby. The Implanion is one of the most reliable forms of contraceptive on the market. In fact, it's 99% effective in preventing pregnancy." Said Dr. Greene.

"Well, considering I had triplets 4 months ago, I'd say I'm just a freaking lucky charm" laughed Tinsley.

"I'd say so" said Dr. Greene.

"There isn't more than one in there is there?" Asked Tinsley.

"Not that I can tell. We will know more about that as you get further along." Said Dr. Greene.

"So what's my due date?" Asked Tinsley.

"Based on the fetal measurements, your date con conception looked to be somewhere near May 15 making your due date of February 6 give or take a few days." Said Dr. Greene.

"Sounds good." Said Tinsley.

"Next step is to remove the implant in your arm. The sooner the better." Said Dr. Greene.

"Ok, how do we do that?" Asked Tinsley.

"It's really simple, I can do it here in the office if you would like." Said Dr. Greene.

"Yes! I want to get it out of my arm before it causes any harm to the baby" said Tinsley.

"Then let's get it out. Abby, I'll need the surgical tray" said Dr. Greene as he turned towards Nurse Abby.

"Coming right up doctor" said Abby.

After a matter of twenty minutes, Dr. Greene has removed the implant as Tinsley was walking out of the office. She already had an appointment for a follow up in one month.

As she was walking to her car, her phone began to ring. Checking the ID she saw it was Jax.

"Hey baby" said Tinsley.

"Hey. Are you just about done?" Asked Jax.

"Not quite. I still need to stop at walmart. What's up?" Asked Tinsley.

"I missed you. That's all" said Jax.

"I miss you too baby. I got to run in walmart and then I'll be home. You need anything?" Tinsley asked.

"Just your sweet ass home. Moms good company and all but I like looking at you better" said Jax.

"I hear ya. I'll be there in a few minutes." Said Tinsley.

"I love you" said Jax.

"I love you too" said Tinsley before hanging up the phone.

She was about to burst from not telling him she was pregnant but she didn't want to do that over the phone. This was something.m she needed to see face to face to gauge his reaction. And she was surely hoping his reaction was a good one.

After making a flying trip in and out of Walmart, Tinsley stopped to pay the water bill even though it wasn't due just yet. She also stopped to get Jax a carton of cigarettes, a couple new magazines, and even a couple of books she had heard him mention in the past. A couple of them actually looked pretty interesting. Not that she would have time to read them.

As she got closer and closer to home, her nerves began to fray. She didn't know why she was so nervous about telling Jax. Gemma said she knew Jax would be ecstatic for another baby. Tinsley's sure hopes she was right.

Pulling into the drive, she noticed Tig, Juice, Chibs, Clay, Bobby, and evening Piney's bikes all lining the street in front of the house. The whole gangs here Tinsley thought to herself. Well, everyone but Half Sack this is. She was pretty sure he was neck deep in baby diapers and wedding planning if she knew Willow. On the upside, she had someone to lug all the groceries and other items into the house.

As she walked in the door, she was met by the sound of clapping and a resounding yay. What the world she thought. When she got to the living room, she watched Abel has he took 3 steps... all by himself. Her baby boy was walking. She couldn't believe it. Tears welled up in her eyes at the sight and her heart burst with pride in her little boy.
