Chapter 89

Jax didn't know when he had fallen asleep but he awoke light coming from the blinds of the bedroom and the smell of food cooking. Rolling to his side, he looked at the clock and saw that it was nearly 10:00 a.m. he should have been at the club house by now.

Jumping up out of bed, he went to the bathroom to pee, brush his teeth, and wash his face. Once he was done, he got dressed in his usual carpenter jeans. He grabbed a SAMCRO shirt and headed down stairs. He found Tinsley standing at the stove flipping pancakes.

"Good morning beautiful" said Jax as he walked over and wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her on the cheek.

"Morning babe" said Tinsley.

"Why didn't you wake me?" Asked Jax as he snagged a piece of bacon.

"Because I knew you needed the sleep." Said Tinsley.

"I did need it but I have things to do" said Jax.

"I'm sorry. I hope your not mad" said Tinsley.

"I'm not mad baby. I just wanted to get this done quick so I could get back to you" said Jax.

"We have all day. Plus I'm going to the garage today remember." Said Tinsley.

"Yep, I do" said Jax.

"Actually, I was thinking of cooking a big dinner for the all the guys tonight. How's that sounds?" said Tinsley.

"Sounds amazing to me" said Jax.

"Any requests?" Asked Tinsley.

"Grilled chicken Alfredo?" Asked Jax.

"With salad and garlic bread?" Asked Tinsley.

"Absolutely" said Jax.

"You got it. Help me get all this to the table so we can eat" said Tinsley.

Jax, Tinsley, and Abel all sat down at the table and ate while the babies slept. They joked with each other and played with Abel. Abel loved the pancakes.

Once they were done eating, Jax took Abel to get him dressed while Tinsley cleaned up the kitchen. After loading the dish washer, she went and got herself dressed. She threw on her distressed jeans and purple off the shoulder crop top. She slipped on her boots and then went in the bathroom and applied some makeup. She styled her hair in loose waves and pinned the front back.

When she was done, she went to down to the second floor and started gathering things in the diaper bag for the kids for the day. She grabbed a change of clothes for each baby, diapers, wipes, and a couple toys. When she walked into Abel's room to get his things, she found Jax trying and failing at changing Abel's diaper.

"What are you doing?" Said Tinsley laughing at the sight in front of her.

"Trying to change this shitty diaper but this kid won't stay still. He had shit all the way up his back." Said Jax.

"He's gonna need a bath" said Tinsley.

"Ok. But I have to get most of it off first" said Jax.

"Need any help?" She asked.

"No, we will get it eventually" said Jax.

"Ok." Said Tinsley. She kissed him on the lips and walked out of the room. She headed downstairs and grabbed one of the pack and plays and loaded it and the diaper bag in the car.

When she got back inside, she heard water running so she knew Jax had finally got Abel in the tub. Shaking her head and smiling, she went to the kitchen and grabbed the bag for bottles and formula. She packed snacks for Abel inside. making sure she had everything she needed, she went and grabbed some toys for Abel and placed them in a bag. She carried all those items to the car.
