(Y/n)'s pov
Not everyone is born in the right body. I know I wasn't. I was born a girl. There were little signs that I suppose indicated the future. for example, I don't like dressing up and I usually liked boyish things. I'd get repromanded by my strict, homophobic/transphobic parents.
At age sixteen, when I came out to them, they kicked me out. I roamed the streets until a police officer picked me up. I had told them I was kicked out but not the exact reason why.
They dropped me at an orphanage but I knew it was a slim chance of getting adopted at such an old age. And most people I've met are transphobic, so that'd never work out.
It wasn't until one day about a year ago when I was starting to look a bit more masculine -wearing an old binder from another kid at the orphanage, got my name changed and when I had cut my hair short enough- that I half passed as a male that I was adopted by Bruce Wayne.
Long story short, I found out he was Batman and his other kids were also formed and current Robins.
I now love with them. If never told them I'm trans. None of them seem to be transphobic, definitely not homophobic either two of the brothers -Tim and Dick- have boyfriends. But I'm not ready and I haven't been ready since I met them after what happened last time.
Though I'll admit. It's difficult living in a house of detectives but, I've managed to get by I think.
~Flashbacks~
"God, it's hot in here." I said, fanning myself.
"Then take off you're shirt. We're all dudes." Jason said. I panicked.
"Nah, I'm good." I said. Jason rolled his eyes.
"Whatever then."

"Why don't you come swim with us (Y/n)?\" Dick called from the pool.
"I uh, I don't know how." I lied. Dick smiled.
"I'll teach you!"
"Uh, pass."

"Ooh! Didn't do the dare! Take off your shirt (Y/n)!" Tim teased.
"I'm done playing, I've got homework I should do." I said standing up.
"P*ssy." Japan muttered. Dick slapped his arm.

"May I ask why is your voice is toned to a higher octave than a regular sixteen year old male (Y/l/n)?" Damian asked.
"Uh..."
"Damian that's rude!" Dick snapped. Damian shrugged
"I was just asking."
"It's okay Dick, I dunno Damian it just is."
