Flames Part 2 Tim x Reader

I opened my eyes after blacking out for a minute. All attention was on the boy wonder and some of the victims of the flames. I picked myself up and crept into the shadows.

Making my way home, I continued to cough. At one point I fell to my knees in another coughing fit. Tears streamed down my cheeks. Oh gosh! Why am I still coughing? After a minute I stood and went inside my apartment.

I laid down on my bed, still in my suit. I wiped the tears from my eyes and fell asleep. I dreamed of fire.

Tim's pov

Batman ran over to me as I fell to my knees. He enveloped me in a quick embrace. I coughed, and coughed and coughed. Finally I stopped and stood up. I remembered the vigilante that had saved me. I frantically turned and searched for her but she was gone.

"Robin! What's wrong?" Batman asked. I opened my mouth to speak, but a cough came out. I cleared my throat and opened my mouth again.

"A-a-**cough** vigilante saved me an-**cough** -d now she's gone. A beam that was on fire fell onto her and sh-**cough** -e helped me out. And n-**cough** -ow I'm worried." I explained, coughs interrupting here and there. Batman nodded.

"We'll find her and make sure she's alr- Robin? Robin!" I had passed out, not hearing Batman's statement.

~Time Skip to the next day~

My alarm beeped at me telling me to get up for hell (yeah I don't like school sorry if you do). I dragged myself out of bed.

After I took a quick shower, I quickly got changed into my Gotham Academy uniform, and threw what could be washed of my suit in the washer. I looked at my sheets. Ashes decorated them. I threw those in the wash too.

I raced back into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and hair. I grabbed my bag and a doughnut and ran out the door.

I sped off on my motorcycle and arrived just in time. I got to class and opened my notebook so I wouldn't have to talk to others.

Then Rob- er Tim rushed through the door and took a seat beside me. I didn't talk or look at him throughout the day.

~Time Skip to the end of the day back at your house~

I stared at the clock. Uhg. Can time pass ANY slower? I just wanna go out on patrol! Finally the clock hit the 6:00pm mark. I jumped out the window and into the cloudy night. I stalked across building tops and kept my ears open for sounds of crime.

Frustrated, I sat down and waited. But sadly, Gotham was quiet today. I heard footsteps behind me. I turned and faced Robin. He sat down beside me.

"Hi."

"Hi."

"How are you doing?"

"Better. How's the burn on your back?"

"Oh it's fine. I don't really pay attention to pain."

"Oh."

"Yeah. How's your leg?"

"I don't pay attention to pain." He answered grinning. I blushed. He looked so adorable! I snapped myself out of my trace.

"Can I do something to repay you? You could've died last night." He said kindly. I shook my head.

"Hey it's the least I can do. You're too cute to die." I smacked my hand over my mouth. "Did I say that out loud?" I asked, knowing the embarrassing answer. Robin chuckled.

"Yeah you did but it's okay. I'm thinking the same about you." He and I blushed. We sat in silence for a moment until his comm beeped.

"Okay I'll be there in a minute Batman." I turned to face him. He sighed. "Sorry I gotta go. It was nice seeing you." He and I stood.

Here goes nothing. I took a sharp breath in and kissed him on the cheek. His face turned a light pink and mine did too. Then he smirked.

"Your aim was off." I raised an eyebrow at him but I was cut off by his hands on the sides of my face, pulling me in for a kiss. I smiled into the kiss and we broke apart seconds later.

"Later boy wonder." I said giving a small wave. He grinned.

"Later."

I went home calm but when I got there a thought came to me. I just kissed THE boy wonder! Oh. My. Gosh. What am I doing with my life?!
