"What if I'm Orpheus? Will you be my Eurydice? The nymph that the forest dearly loved but dearly killed? The nymph that my lyre sang for?" Jungkook said as he motioned his right hand in an elevating position as he looked at Taehyung who's at the kitchen, making simple sandwiches as he watched the big kid do his mini-monologue as if he's some foolish 'professional' stage player.

"Fuck, no. Eurydice had tits and that pearl. I ain't. So fuck off with your lyre..." Taehyung said as he internally stopped himself from laughing especially when Jungkook's smiling face turned into a rather 'Damn-that's-your-fucking-answer' look.

"But you had the ass and the sword..." Jungkook replied after a few stalls of silence and just the sound of the utensils that Taehyung used with making the sandwiches. "Maybe Orpheus preferred that?" He said and smiled naughtily which made Taehyung laugh out.

"Are you nuts!?" He exclaimed as he laughed more, caught off guard by Jungkook when the younger had made his way to his best friend and pinned him against the kitchen countersink. "Hey! What--"

"But I'm serious... If you don't wanna be my Eurydice... Should I be someone else's Orpheus then?" He asked and Taehyung hated how the younger kept on doing this. He attacked him in a different way now but Taehyung would still, would always, have the same answer.

He pushed Jungkook away by pushing his forehead with his fingers. "I'm not Greek. You are not too..."

"Then be my Taehyung! I'll be your Jungkook! Simple! Be mine, hyung!" Jungkook insisted.

"Repeat that once more and I'll make you find another place to stay. Yeah?" he said and smiled. He gave him one sandwich and put the rest inside his bag. He grabbed it and looked at Jungkook. "I'll leave now. Call me if you're going out. Leave the spare key in the same place. Bye..." he said and left Jungkook's stiff body stood there, in the pain of being rejected for the millionth time.

He left as if he had never felt the pain that he could not even say 'yes' to the offer that he dearly wanted for himself to accept.
