*Ben's POV*

I wake up. That's it. That's all I can remember. I wake up and stand up.

I reach down for my saber and find it not to be there. That's when it hits me.

I fall back down dizzily. My legs refuse to hold my weight up anymore. I ball my hands into fists. Astrid.

She did this to me. She is the one to pay.

"I hate you! Ben Solo, I hate you more than I've ever hated anything in my entire life!"

Her words ring through my head.

I continue to sit on the floor until somebody stirs beside me. I reach for my belt, out of habit.

I swear out loud.

The person sits up.

"That's no way to talk Ren." Hux says drowsily.

"Oh great. It's you." I roll my eyes behind the mask.

"Oh shut up." Hux spits back. He stands up and I do too. My legs finally have the strength to hold me up.

I dust myself off and adjust my cape. I take my mask off and sweep my hair back. I've been meaning to get it cut but I haven't had the time. I've been to busy looking for A-

I cut my thought off just as someone walks in.

I look up and see Snoke gliding down the raised walkway.

I quickly kneel.

"Supreme Leader Snoke! To what do we owe the absolute pleasure of seeing you in person?" Hux asks dramatically.

I suppress a snort.

Snoke growls at Hux.

"Stand up Ren. I'm very disappointed in you."

I do as he says and eye him warily. He drags somebody out from behind him. The person yelps as they're dragged forward by their collar.

"You're...apprentice...has gotten the best of you. Do you know what I found her doing? She was trying to escape the base by your ship. She could've left! She could've ruined everything! Do you know what else I found on her?" Snoke pauses as if waiting for me to answer.

I do not. I keep my head down, my eyes trained on my boots.

"Answer me Ren!" He reaches out with his free hand and pulls my chin up.

I stare him defiantly through the tangles of my hair. He growls and brings his hand down across my face.

I don't cry out. I don't even move. I keep my eyes focused as if he had never hit me.

"Insolent boy. You are exactly like your father." He spits at me. "I found your lightsaber on her. This girl was going to leave with your saber and your ship." Snoke continues as if nothing happened. "You better watch her." He finishes. He thrusts her forward and she stumbles.

On reflex, I reach down to catch her. She pushes away from me immediately.

"Don't touch me." She snarls.

Snoke's lip curls upwards and he reaches down to Astrid.

"Learn how to be better girl." He growls, his hand forcing her to look up at him.

She jerks away from him. Snoke raises his arm again, as if to slap her.

His hand sails down and I step in front of her, my arm outstretched. Instead if Astrid, Snoke slaps my arm.

"You will not touch her." I say.

"I could strip you down to nothing boy. I could take everything away from you."

"And what good would that do you? I'm the strongest Sith you have. I'm the only Sith you have. Neither Astrid nor Annie or Matthew will join you."

Snoke makes an animalistic noise in the back of his throat.

Without another word he turns and leaves, gliding down the walkway and out if the room.

It's silent.

After a minute, Hux shuffles our leaving Astrid and I alone.

"I'm going to my room." She says.

"Snoke moved your room. It's with me now." I reply. I instantly regret those words as soon as they come out of my mouth.

*Astrid's POV*

You stare at Ben in shock.

Him! My room is with him now!

It's as if he's trying to torture you.

Ben clears his throat awkwardly. "I assume you know where to go?"

You shake your head.

"This isn't Starkiller." You say. Your eyes immediately jump to the scar running the length of his whole face. The scar that you put there. Somehow, it makes him look more handsome.

"Follow me." Ben says. The two of you leave the room and walk down multiple hallways.

You finally arrive at a door, much like the one back on Starkiller. It opens at your touch.

Inside is a large king sized bed, two bedside tables, and a few dressers. There's also a connected bathroom.

"Homey." You say sarcastically.

You turn and see Ben put his helmet back on.

"I'll be back with food. Get comfortable." His voice is mechanical. He spins in his heel and leaves.

You sigh and run a hand through your hair. You could use a shower but Ben will be back soon and you don't want him looking for you and finding you in the shower.

You unclip your belt and lay it on one of the dressers. You sit in the edge of the bed and hang your head in your hands.

How do I always get into these messes? You think to yourself.

A minute later,the door opens and Ben clicks in. He lays something next to you before sitting in the other side of the bed.

You can hear him taking off all his armor. The thought sends a chill up your spine.

"Astrid." He touches your shoulder gently.

You move away from him. He sighs.

"You should eat." Ben says. In response, your stomach growls.

"I'd rather starve than eat something you've touched." You spit out. You know your being irrational but all you can think of is Dantooine being blown up.

"Have it your way." Ben says. He lays down, the bed creaking underneath him, and he's out in seconds.

What a stupid move. You think. He's too trusting.
