*Astrids POV*

You stare up at Ben, your cheeks burning from smiling too much.

He smiles back.

The both of you sit like that for a second before a nurse walks in and clears her throat.

Ben jumps, turns around, and kind of...growls.

"What?" He asks.

"Supreme Leader Snoke has requested the presence of Ms. Astrid and you Mr. Ren." The nurse says. Her voice doesn't quiver and she doesn't sway under Ben's stare. It's like she knows she's worth something.

Instantly, you like her.

"What's your name ma'am?" You ask her.

She turns to you and blinks a couple times, as if she's not used to being addressed in such a way.

"It's Emma. Emma Madeleines."

"Nice to meet you Emma." You shake hands with her and then swing your legs over the bed and stand up.

It's hard at first, but eventually you're able to stand and walk with minimal pain.

Emma helps you get dressed and then you hold onto Ben and waddle out the door.

The two of you head to Snoke's auditorium.

You're nervous.

"Why did he ask for us?" You whisper to Ben.

"I'm not sure. Just whatever you do, trust me, and follow my lead." Ben whispers back.

He keeps his eyes focused ahead of him, not even glancing at you.

The red guards open the large double doors and you step inside.

Inside here, it's chilly. You wrap your arms around yourself, wishing for one of Ben's sweaters.

Ben walks to the steps of Snoke's dias and kneels. You do the same.

"My apprentice. And you. Astrid of Jakku." Snoke spits out your name.

"Why have you called us here today Master?" Ben asks, his eyes focused on the ground. His cape and hair both pool around him, shrouding every inch of him in darkness.

"You and I both know Ren. The girl. She's a distraction for you. The Jedi believe love makes you stronger." Snoke snarls. "But in their foolishness, they forget that love is a weakness. That love can be used against you. And in your case Kylo Ren, love has made you question my decisions."

Ben tenses up beside me.

"You believed Astrid to be dead, and that clouded your judgement at the Battle of Crait. Because of this...this girl, the resistance still lives!" Snoke yells. He reaches out one bony hand, and you feel yourself being dragged forward.

You stifle a gasp as you come face to face with the old alien.

You flinch away from him and Snoke laughs.

Instead of him hurting you, he reaches out and your lightsabers come flying into his hand.

You here one, two, and...and two. You only here two clinks as the sabers are set down next to Snoke, on the arm of his chair.

Snoke sneers at you in disgust before pushing you backwards away from him.

"You make him weak. You are why the First Order will lose. Because of this, you must die." Snoke throws you to the ground, and you roll, trying to avoid getting hurt.

You land on your back, staring up at the auditorium roof.

Why oh why is Ben with Snoke? You think to yourself.
