Shawn woke up the next morning, sun shining in his eyes. She reached out for Camila, only to grab air. 

She wasn't there. She had left him. 

 He opened his eyes and found a note. 

Thank you for last night. Thank you for everything. I'm sorry. I love you, Shawn Peter Raul Mendes ♡ ~ Camila 

She actually left. It felt like when they tried to have 'no strings attached'. He would wake up to an empty bed, but this time was, in Camila's words, "the last time".

 Camila was in her car leaving to go to her parents house. She tried her best not to cry or think about Shawn. 

She had felt bad for just leaving him but she could barely have that conversation with him and even if she did he wouldn't have let her go.

 She wanted to just stay in that bed in his arms and forget everything, but she couldn't. 

 The house was huge and way too big for her family, but she had gotten used to it. Her whole childhood was this house and she wouldn't trade it for the world. She parked out front and gave her keys to the butler who appears to be a new hire. 

"Hello, Ms. Cabello." "Hey. Where is everybody?" She asked. 

 "In the dining room ma'am." She nodded and thanked him. The table was set for seven. Her, her parents, her sister, Austin, and his parents. 

 "Kaki!" She heard from behind her, it was her 5 year old sister, Sofi. "Sofi! How are you kiddo?" She smiled picking up her sister. Other than Shawn, Sofi was her world. "Awkward." Camila let out a little laugh. "Why?" Sofi eyed Austin. Camila let a sigh. "Oh, yeah... you want to know a secret?" Sofi nodded her head and leaned her ear to Camila."I don't like this either." 

 During dinner, the parents tried to make conversation mainly talking about their companies. 

Austin was next to Camila, and they barely spoke. She was eating her food when she felt a hand graze her thigh.

 She tensed up at the unfamiliar touch. She ached for someone else's touch. She was about to push Austin's hand away when the door rang, doing the job for her.

 She went to go get the door when her dad beat her to it. After a couple minutes she heard her father call for her. 

She got out of her seat and everybody came with her. They all walked to the front and her heart stopped. 

Seeing him here made her legs go weak. She couldn't say she was completely shocked, this gesture just screamed Shawn. 

"Camila, do you know this man?" Her father asked. She just simply nodded because she had temporarily lost her ability to speak. 

 He was in a button up and nice pants. Her eyes trailed up his body to his eyes. He had this determination in his eyes that Camila previously told him was hot. 

Shawn walked past everyone, keeping his eyes on Camila. Austin decided to speak up and cut the silence. "Shawn? You're really stupid for-" 

 Shawn grabbed her face and crashed his lips into her's. She gave in. 

Her hands sank into his hair as the world around them washed away leaving only them in that moment. She kinda accepted that last night was the last time she would kiss him, but damn. She need this. Shawn was the first to pull away, leaving Camila awestruck.
